So Melissa out here calling everybody. I just got the same message, but the number was from New York. My loans are on forbearance due to the coronavirus so I knew she was lying.

Got the same message today 4/13: I didn’t answer, someone named Melissa gave an “agent number” but didn’t say where she was calling from.  Informed me there had been urgent changes to my student loan account, it was time sensitive, and she would “extend my account until Friday” so I could call.  Total [***], looked up the number, it’s some sleazy company advertising student loan forgiveness.

Melissa just called me too(309) 396-9537.......left a message, couldn't call back.....this is a mess.....Don't buy into it. If you have Federal loans, they can find you and identify themselves....If you have private loans, they can identify you.....even bigger, they all can identify themselves. Scam!

I called this number back three times.  The first time; the person who answered the phone started talking over me and then hung up on me.  The second time; I asked to speak to a supervisor and that person hung up on me.  I just called back and an alleged supervisor hung up on me.  I am going to hire a lawyer to bring a suit against them; because the last time I had talked to them; I instructed them to never call back again.  So now; it is going to cost them a minimum of $1,000 each time they call.  Funny thing is; my student loans are in discharge status, because I am on SSDI, with one year and four months until the discharge date.

I got the same call from Melissa saying the exact same thing w/ a reference number. I called and they said I was looking to lower my student loan or had applied to lower it. When I told the lady that answered the phone that I didn't and didn't know this company. Never minding the fact she never said the company name. I told her I was currently unemployed right now. The lady to me " well when you are ready to get back on track give them a call back" and simply hung up in my face before I could say anything...what type of company is this. If you are here to help people and I had a time sencentive matter +which she never brought up when I gave the ref number. How do you just hang up in people face esp w/ all that is going on...these are scammers trying to get rich off of good people period....

I keep receiving calls from this number about student loans.  Don't they know they have been temporarily deferred?  I am trying to make some payment while deferred.  I know it's not from my loaning company.  They are annoying and keep call using different numbers...and 415-325-0268

received phone call about loan forgiveness, was extended until Friday, when called a man answered, i gave the agent  number and my reference number, i asked to speak to the agent that called me, that I feel more comfortable speaking with a female. He then got angry with me stating I was being unreasonable and any help was being taking away from me. I asked to speak to the supervisor. He then put on the do not call list. I tried calling back coth numbers and both stayed busy.  These are the numbers 804-315-9607, 866-8615070. Be careful and cautious who you talk to and give info to.
