I got a voice mail from one of these "investigators", and I'm using that term loosely,  yesterday. It said there was a legal action being taken on my EX-husband. Now mind you, My ex and I have been legally divorced for over 23 years! And my ex is currently in a Federal Prison. I am curious how they were able to track MY phone number but were unable to track down the fact that we have been divorced for 23 years or the fact that my ex is in prison. LOL Sounds like a bunch of dumbasses to me.

The last we knew, Hargrove was still in jail for beating his pregnant girlfriend and Donte lee has a residence in depew new york. This place is such a joke that NO ONE should be allowed to run a business this way! If you were seriouse about collecting anything, you would want to work with the client not give them crap---slur ur words, and just keep saying that we will see you in court.

I like that they still have not called me back after calling them to see what this collection was about. They still refuse  to deal with me after 2 months of calls!  they are just trying to scam people !

This number you're talking about was these people Iran decent? If so, this sounds just like calls I got from a fraud department with 200 Cash.com Inc. This guy called and making false statements saying my husband was in trouble for fraud on a credit card and neither him nor me filed an application out online in January for a credit card. We did loan applications online in late April '10 for a loan that was never approved or denied, but they are in trouble. However, they stole money out of my savings account and got mad cause I closed out that account, and then that's when calls started with these people. I asked questions online, never got any response to those questions back, so this sounds like the calls I got on my cell phone. We I do not understand how this person called from 0000. How did he do that on my cell phone? Something is fraudulent to this I can feel it to this 200 Cash.com Inc.

I know them a CMp! they called my mom and left a rude message to call them back or ill be put in jail. i called them back and set up payment arrangements. they have been taking fifty bucks every two weeks. i called them last week and all u get is a busy tone. i contacted my local BBB and they had me contact the department of finance. THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE DOES NOT HAVE LEGAL ACTION RECOVERY AS A APPROVED LICENSED COMPANY. SO THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COLLECT MONEY IN THE UNITED STATES!

I also was called by these people they said there was a lawsuit and I was going to be sued if I did not pay. They said I could go to jail. I am on SSI and get very little money, I was so scared that I agreed to let them take $10.00 a month out of my checking account. They told me that if for any reason the money was not in the bank for them to take out they could take out the full amount owed. The reason I even found this website is because I noticed they did not take out the money this month and I got scared. The reason they did not take it out is because my bank stopped my debit card that they used to get the money out, and sent me a new one with a different number. So I googled them under the name cmp processing inc. in Stone Mountain , Georgia. I got their phone number and tried to call them, but the only thing I heard was a weird buzzing noise, and then a click so I left a message but I don't know if they got the message or not. After reading all of these posts I am wondering if what they did is legal? I don't even have any way to get ahold of them. I tried to find a e-mail address or web site for them but came up with nothing. Could anyone tell me if what they said and did is legal. I am worried that if I don't find them, they will take the whole amount they said I owed out of my account. Thanks

Thank you so much for the phone number, I spoke to someone at the NYS  Attorney generals office and he is sending me a pamphlet with info on what debt collection agencies can and cannot do. He is also sending me a complaint form and is going to try to get back the money I paid them. I would encourage every one who has had problems with any debt collection agency to call this number or their local attorney general's office. I found out it is a crime for them to harass you and they could go to jail. YEAH!! I do owe a debt which I have tried to make arrangements to pay, but they wanted the whole thing or nothing. I am not, I repeat not trying to get out of paying my debt, that is why I allowed these people to take a sum of money out of my bank every month that I really couldn't afford, but did it anyway to take care of the debt. I just wonder if any of the people who call us and call us low lifes and such have ever had problems paying loans, or debts of any kind? I am sure that there are a few. I can't believe that those people would continue to call and scare and harass people who have fallen on hard times. I agree that there are some people who owe money that got things knowing they could not pay, but thankfully we are not all like that.

you need a new friend. one that doesn't sleep with everyone. she's the biggiest looser, 3 kids by all different men and don't even know who is the dad of the last bastered. tell her to clean up her act and close her legs for good. she put out enough garbage. plus the other scams that she's done, she better look over her back everyday! that's real talk. find someone with class to hang around because she will be in jail soon. better yet just get her kids now before they end up in the care of social services!!!!!

I also rceived a call but not sure the number it came from, but they gave me a number to call back which was 866-222-7203. When I tried calling back no one answered. I wanted them to send me a statement and terms of our agreement, and they also said i would get a statement every month because i agreed to pay $50 a month. It now comes out of my checking account being done by cmp processing. I once again tried to call that number and got a totally different company who just got that number this week. Should I stop the payments coming out of my checking account.i

Yes Linda!  Stop the payments!!  My husband fell into this scam.  After paying $166/mo for way to long, I found info on this scam and stoped payments on the drafts.  He never heard anything from them!!  If he really owed a debt, they would have taken further action.  This of it this way....if it is ledgit, and you cancel the funds, someone will finally call you back to discuss the account.  If for some crazy reason you actually get a call back....tell them you need written documentation of the debts owed.  If you don't agree with the debts, dispute it!  These people are low-life scarm artists taking advantage of people with their threats!!!  They need to go get a REAL job and work like everyone else!!!
