Thanks for nothing people! I received a call from these people about a month ago, Aware that there a lot of scams out there I looked them up here on the computor and found this web site. I called them back and advised them of these reports about them. I also told them I would not pay and would go to court. I also thought the information they were giving me was not at all true and they were a scam. I did not remember the debt they were talking about and thought nothing more of it. Today I found myself in the los angeles county court defending myself over a credit card debt from 2004 that I now have a judgement on my credit report for 2867.28 plus lawyer fees and court cost's. I do not think anyone should try to give advice regarding things they know nothing about. Thanks for nothing people!

called and said legal action was about to be taken. I would be served at home and at my place of employment. they could not tell me where the so called debt came frm

I received a message from a Noel Lucas at this number. Just before or after calling my house and leaving a message, they also called my mothers house and left a message stating that "they needed to speak to me or my attorney about a civil suit in which I had been named." In attempt to return the call, I was only able to get voicemail in which they never attempted to contact me after I left 3 messages. These messages kicked of a very heated agrument between myself and my mother which I did not in the least appreciate. If anybody can find out who these people are, please let me know.

This outfit is good. I found out they are trying to collect on a PAID BILL. Their "Special Agents", "Arbitratiors", and "Company Liasions" are ALL IN THE SAME ROOM. Some aren't very good with the mute buttons used on lines to cut out background noise. They called my Mom's house which they said was impossible as they didn't have the number. They had one number on my "file" that I have no idea who it might be. The amount of the debt changed with each person I talked to. The name of the company they said they represented, has 0 hits on the internet.
They claim not be a collection agency, that they are the step between collections and court, after collections has failed. Didn't know there was such a thing. They claim Civil action. Civil action is over $5000. Not the $682, $603, or $488 they claim I owe.
If you get a call from this company, or your family members get a call from this company, just say "see you in court" and hang up.

I too received a phone call from my sister-in-law in another state that someone left her a message on her phone asking for me but used my maiden name stating they are an investigator and that there is a supenea and gave a case #. After investigating it myself I found your website and was relieved to see this is a scam. I reported it to the FTC and the local FBI. Thanks for your warnings. Please tell all your friends.

Everyone, don't listen to this "bill" character.  I got answering machine messages from the people at the 209-5454 number twice.  On the second message ... they got my first name REALLY wrong.  They have a name and a phone number, and they are baiting.  I have never had credit problems, so these people are definitely scamming thieves.  If a court system wants you, they will provide documentation.

These a**h*les are lying to try to steal your money.  Do not call them back, and do not entertain their specious claims about civil complaints, legal action, etc. etc.  By the way, it's "Powers Ferry Road" in Marietta.  But who the h*ll knows if that's even the real address of the people making the calls.  They're full of it!

This is a phone scam

This group called my step mothers parents (who have a totally different name than me) stating that they were going to put out a warrent for my arrest.  Gave me an address in a town that I never lived in. Never asked for my current phone number or address, just asked for my account.  Beware!

Just a got a call from these peopel at my job, I hung up on them, turned around they called me back and left me a message stating that have a civil complaint against me and will file in Dorchester County. They are  collection agency trying to collect a dect on there terms.

How sad.. I didn't even get an invite to the wedding ;)

Oh, by the way, I talked to a nice lady at the New York State Attorney General's office about you guys.  She was very interested in what I had to say and the recorded voicemail of you guys posing as officials, threatening to litigate when there was no grounds and contacting a third party who does not owe the debt and telling them in detail that I will be sued in 5 days.  People that don't pay their debt may not be in the right, but you guys go far beyond that with your illegal collection practices!

Save any voicemails or phone conversations and report any illegal attempts to collect debt to the FTC.

Trying to scare people into re-aging their debt?  

There is a statute of limitations on credit card debt In California and it's four years from the last payment.  If indeed you are truthful, did not consent to a pro tem attorney and asked for a hearing infront of a judge, this should have been thrown out.

So wait, all debtors are criminals then? So anyone who gets a loan to buy a house, car or go to school is a criminal? Even if they pay it off? May want to look up the word  "debtors" pal.

Hell, that being said. Is the United States government the biggest criminal of all time =p

I received a call from Special Investigator Bryce Peterson from Legal Action Recovery stating that I was being sued and he gave me a case number that was being filed with Allegheny County.  I tried to call them back but was told to leave my name and number and someone would get back to me.  No one did.  Then I found out that he called my ex-mother-in-law and my ex-husband to get information.  I tried to find my "case" number with the courts, but there doesn't seem to be any.  I had no idea what I am being sued for.

Getting daily calls at my work and home numbers.  Now they just called my other.  This is harassement!  I have not received anything in writing, only daily calls.  Haven't had anything outstanding as far as bills for many many years.
