- trumbs94 replies to Winky| 2 repliesYeah, I just called the number on my bank statement, and the gentleman was really nice and even suggested the refund before I asked for it. He said that I'll receive an email confirming the refund and that I should see the refund back into my acct in 3-4 days. When I called, I got through right away, and I think I was on the phone for a total of maybe 2 minutes. Easy stuff :)
- fourstamp replies to trumbs94| 1 replyJust had the same experience As "trumbs94". It's even possible they will refund the $29 overdraft fee I incurred because I was not aware of the 59.95 charge on my debit card.
- What the F***?!?!? replies to disgruntledSame thing happened to me...so I called and selected option 3 and the guy on the other end didn't give me an hassle about a refund (3-5 days).
- CopperMapleI noticed a $12.00 charge from this number that I didn't recognize. After reading all the above posts, I was ready to call them on Monday and get it taken off my account. Then I did a search on the company website for the description that precedes the phone number... Turns out the handle billing for our community swimming pool (and I HAD taken the girls swimming the week before), and a whole lot of other activities in my small town.
I'm not saying they don't use questionable tactics in other areas, but after looking into it, I don't have a beef with them.- Caller: active.com
- Jan S replies to fourstampJust got a posting on credit card for $59.95 and also recently used Active.com - Bogus charge!!!
- Frustarting but guess I can't complainHad a $15.20 charge show up - golf green fee at a senior citizen golf course.... guess SOME things they do are legit
- Scammed| 2 repliesDiscovered a $59.95 bogus charge on my credit card statement listed as "ACT*REGISTRATION 877-228-4881 CA". I never even heard of active.com, and I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company!!!
- JenI just figured out what I was charged for. If your bank or credit card statement says ACT*LLB it is registration for Little League Baseball. Only scam there, is the amount Little League charges for the kids to play!

- BagsEvery year I see a charge and forget it is for tickets I buy for a local city event. If you call the number they are very nice. It seems some smaller cities use them as a credit card processing company for community activities.
- Jacob garzaI have been charged $59.95 from your website and I did not want this. This happens every year and I have to constantly contact you to rectify the situation. I request my refund immediately, thank you. I can be reached at 2103361471 or my email is jtciao@hotmail.com.
- MarinMomsaw this number twice on my recent credit card statement...I had signed up my daughter for ballet through local community center and then a month later got the $59.95 charge. I was on hold over 17 minutes and finally hung up and disputed transaction through my credit card company. The sad thing is I probably would not have noticed the charge as I put everything on the card and just happened to have bought a new heater and wanted to see how much they put through on the card at one time.
- joannI called to question a $300 charge for ACT MSC Registration on my credit card and Helena couldn't tell me where it was from. She actually hung up on me! I have no idea why I was charged this money.
- BabsNo idea where the charge came from. 14 bucks in my case.... am calling on Monday!!

- Stephanie BThis site is frickin ridiculous. I will never EVER use active.com for anything again. They just charged me 59.95 for no reason that I can tell. I sure as hell didn't mean to sign up for any of their bullcrap "savings club"... which I tried one time a few years ago and promptly quit. A total crock. Did nothing for me. I have had it to the gills with this site.
- Mark Distler$182 charge on my credit card. I never signed up for an event of any kind on line. I will call them and also dispute it so that I don't have to pay it. Since it hit this billing cycle, even if they credit it back, I would still have to pay it or face paying interest on it. This company clearly is dishonest. I plan to report them to BBB.
- Just sayinSo I got a charge on my account from ACT Registration with this phone number attached to it, but after doing a little research I found out that these people also do bill pay services for utility companies, which is what my charge was for. It was the first time I had used the online bill pay option for my water bill here in Lynnwood WA. I actually disputed the charge and then had to repay it after finding out what this really was. Not to say that some of these complaints on here arent valid, just giving some of you a different perspective and avenue to research.... good luck!!!

- WillWill never use active.com in future.
- TimI was freaking out when I found a $90 charge and read all of these posts, but it turns out my wife signed or daughter up for swimming lesions at the local community pool and they used his website for the payment transaction on their website.
My wife said that when she paid they asked her to sign up for a free prime account that would give discounts for future uses of the website. I think this is what is killing everyone, from what I've been reading it appears that if you don't decline the membership then you start getting charged after the first year of free use. Luckily my wife is a genius and declined :-)
