I just got hit with a charge for $64.95 one one of my credit cards on 12/10/2015.  I feek certain this is fraud.  I haven't signed up for any sporting events (or anything else).  No calls that I know of.

Not a phone call but per my Ccard company a $30.00 charge was made by a company with this phone number for supposed ACT*Registration, which charge I never authorized.

I was looking at my bank statement - charged $343.25 from Active with this phone number.  I have no idea what this is.  I am not a runner nor is anyone in my family.  I have no idea how this happened.  Calling them immediately.

I thought for sure this was a scam but when I delved deeper I DID make a charge in that amount (274) signing daughter up for field hockey team.  So, in my case it was a true charge and NOT a scam.  Not saying that others' are not scams but in my case it was legit.

This is actually Active.com. The $59.95 is an annual membership that generally comes free with the first time you register for a marathon or 10k, and then they charge annually after that. So, unless you have never signed up for a run, this is actually legit. I would just go in and cancel your renewal so they don't try and charge again next year.

Ijust saw my credit card being charged for $420 from ACT*UHS STOREHQZ 877-228-4881 TX, i call the 1877-228-4881 number, they said it was charged my my son High school.  I call HS they have no idea what it is. I had call my credit card last year for dispute, the dispute was declined, and this year they charge again, how do i put this company to court, can some one provide guidance. i am a sigle mom, and i work 16 hurs a day, i really have no money or time to deal with with theft.

I certainly would not have eaten that money last year and I certainly would have insisted on a new card number.  You should have made a police report which I would suggest doing now before you dispute that charge.  This appears to be some scam organization that charges a yearly fee if you or your child registers on their website.  Did your child register for something with them?

I would send them a certified, return receipt letter demanding a refund of all amounts.  I would also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's Office as well.

I received a charge on my bank account with this phone number 1-877-228-4881 ACT and when I called to tell them it was a fraud they said it was also charged in March, I have changed my credit card number since March, how are they getting the new number???  It says it's from Texas and I live in California.  I did not authorize this or any charge from them.

Was on Hold for over 15 minutes this was for a $89.95 charge for a Membership I NEVER requested. I was signed up for this when I signed up for a Foam Run and Bubble Run. Make sure and look through the whole sign up process some where I had to UNCHECK  a box to not be charged a Yearly Membership. They are refunding my money but tried very hard to say it had many perks ie discounts.
