Bogus call claiming my Chase ATM was suspended.  Dangerous as they ask for SSN, birthday and other info.  Number should be blocked.

Says someone is trying to send me $ from Mexico in my app and there have been a lot of transactions on my Acct so they have to call to verify. I know no one in Mexico, there are no notifications in my app, They could only verify the Acct is associated with my phone # but not my name or my CashApp tag! It is a scam!!

Received 3 calls in a row this morning starting at 5:10 am, 5:11 am and 5:13 am.  Im pretty sure that Chase would not be calling me that early!  Good thing I didn't have my phone next to the bed or Id have given them a reason to never call me again!  I have blocked this number.

For me it was a totally valid call. I had cleared my computer history. The next time I went to my Chase account online we went through the process to re-verify my computer. This was the number that was used to verify my computer.

I received an email saying that my Chase credit card has been locked due to suspicious activity.  I do not have a Chase credit card.

Also received an email from Chase that stated
my card shows suspicious activity and the card has been closed and to call this # for help. I don't have a Chase card

This was Chase calling to give me my verification code for online banking. I don't know about anyone else, this was valid for me. However, real numbers are being spoofed these days, criminals are getting very good at what they do. Beware.

Why would you bother to look up a known phone number, especially when you acknowledge scammers spoof them? Telling us YOUR call was valid is pointless since it doesn't mean anyone else's call is.

I received a call from this number caller I’d says chase bank atm. The msg saying press # to verify your 8 digit code.

No message left.  Spam call hat said it was chase bank.  I checked with the bank and it was not them.

Kat, I was researching another number here that was in my phone list and entered this one by mistake because I didn't recognize it. That's when I realized this WAS my Chase callback from the other day. I became interested in the comments here, because I realized for me this number was valid, but it was an eye-opener for me that many people may have been spoofed by this number faking it was Chase. Scammers are spoofing real numbers, all I was saying is we need to be careful with even the real numbers.

Had account fraud force us to close Chase account on 4/15/20.  Went to close by Chase bank office and completed all paperwork applicable to closing the account hacked (by use of Zelle - without our approval to put that process on any of our accounts) - without having rec'd the monies of which we were frauded in the time Chase people told us the monies would be returned by the bank.  We then, following Chase bank's direction, opened a new account and took virtually all of the money in the frauded account to be deposited in the new account.  Now we find our new account closed and when seeking technical assistance here, got the 877-242-7372 number asking for our codes with which to enter the newest account.   A complete disaster and Chase's putting us in the Zelle process without our knowledge and approval reeks of pathetic security in code design, development and security!

Chase  didn’t  recognize me and they didn’t text me the code to my my phone .  Never received any text .

Received email supposedly from Chase reporting unusual activity on my card.  Looks really legitimate, with this number, asking me to call to verify, BUT, these braindead scammers/phishing [***], haha, I do not have a Chase account.

And we don’t have an account with ( um) either .

These are lazy illiterate Scammers. I don’t have a Chase Account, yet they were asking me for my full social security. Be careful.
