- NCarolinianAt first did not recognize this # but then realized that I was using a different computer to login to chase; therefore, chase needed to send a login code to access accounts. This is a good # and chase takes security seriously. If you rec'v call from this #, you probably have an acct. with them or someone used your tel # (hopefully not from stolen idenitity!).

- 'Tage replies to Carol| 6 repliesNot too bright, are you? Don't tell people it is fraud when you have no clue... it's a valid Chase number. Just because the Chase front-line operators you spoke to had no clue doesn't mean it's fraud. Read the other reviews. I got the same call when I signed on from a different computer. It is NOT fraud.
- Badge714The usual back-forth arguement. Caller ID can say anything. If you get a call & they say they are Chase, tell them you'll call them back- from the phone book, back of credit card, or statement. NEVER give out personal information on a call you did not make. This call can say anything, & be, from anywhere in the world.
- lisalouI have all kinds of alerts set up with Chase Bank, so I get calls from this number several times a month. I really don't need all of them, but as soon as I cancel one, ...! LOL! I'll just keep them for the time I really need the alert.
BTW, I also set it up to notify my cell phone if there is a charge over a certain amount in case my account is used fraudulently- Caller: Chase Bank

- Pcreceived messges, to use acct, called chase to remove my credit card. this is a scam.
- Caller: Chase, they said it wasnt them
- kellyI been getting emails from chase about online account that was recently opened. I never had a account with them. I've been getting emails for the past two weeks regarding over drafts and online access. I called the 877 number and they told me to report to abuse@chase.com so I did and then I get two seperate emails one saying it wasn't a valid email from chase then another that it is. so I call for the third time this morning and ask to speak with a supervisor who then said someone else has my email address and she was going to call their customer to have them change there email address. I don't know this all sound fishy to me. I hate CHASE and I am still waiting for her to call me back to let me know what thier customer says. I just hope this is not fruad and that someone else is not using my social.

- cateIt is past midnight, and this number called us.
- Caller: UNAVAILABLE
- catere my latest message, above -- this is the legitimate Chase number. Apparently, my husband was trying to do something online with his credit card account, and had to make an adjustment after switching to a different computer, and doing all this at midnight...Anyway, it is an OK number, but I wish these companies would identify themselves via the Caller ID
- Caller: Chase bank
- RadiomanJust got an automated call from this number at 1:46 AM. The message said it was Chase online with an 8 digit identification code to access my account online. I DO NOT HAVE A CHASE ACCOUNT. It said that if I didn't request it to call them at 1-866-355-3744. THEY REQUIRE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO TALK TO THEM !
- Caller: Chase Online
- TidalWaveOneLEGIT number from CHASE with an automated code you may need to access an account... of course Caller ID can be spoofed, so keep that in mind.
- Caller: CHASE
- Rocksie Ann PalmerThe phone rang and no ID came up. No message was left?
- SamanthaWhenever you receive a voicemail or email from a bank, check the bank's phone number online or from the back of your credit/debit card to get the real contact phone number. Your bank will tell you the same thing. Emails and voicemails are not always reliable.

- BostonHollyGood to know , Chase has actually been very very conscientious about catching fraud and alerts to approaching my self set threshold. Why the hell don't they just say so ? Hanging up only creates a annoyance and wasted time for the customer.
- Shirl replies to FastlanedanForgot that I needed a code from my bank because it didn't recognize my computer. Great way to do it. It gives you options for phone text or email. Love this service
- Shirl replies to DonnaCall the number back. If you have an account with Chase some one my be using your info and your acct. could be compromised.
- Beth replies to CarolI have gotten several calls. It's a fake!!!!
- Beth replies to 'Tage| 2 repliesIt asks for your debit card number without asking if it's for a personal or business account. It never asks for you account t number or debit card number, which the real Chase always does. Then the recording rambles on about fraudulent emails. The real chase recordings don't do that. Plus, Chase doesn't call it's customers randomly for no reason. I called them to verify and was told there was no reason anyone from Chase would have called me. Before you say someone is "not too bright", you should know what your talking about first.

- KayeLegit call from Chase. Went to log into Chase.com on new computer and it did not recognize it. Needed to get code in order to log in.
