I got a call from this number at 3:00AM!  I was SLEEPING!  It was Chase asking about my acct.  I do not have an account with Chase.   Couldn't get back to sleep.  Called them and they looked up my number and said they will remove my number.  I asked if someone was using my info.  she looked and said she couldn't find anything but will remove my number. She said it was a mistake call..  HOW DID THEY GET MY NUMBER!!!!!! She said she didn't know but said she removed my number.   B.

Received a legitimate Chase Bank call at 4 am Arizona time with a 10 digit code I didn't request, which is crappy as it is, but then it makes me wonder why? I don't have a single thing with Chase, I never have and my phone number has been mine for over 15 years.

It is legitimately Chase Bank though.

Or it could be someone spoofing Chases phone number.  I fail to see how the call could have been "legitimate" if you have no dealings with that bank.

This is Chase, do what I did and file a complaint with the FCC. It may not do much, if anything, but if enough people complain... maybe then action will be taken.

I cant imagine this is a spoofed call. I used to do business with this bank years ago and I can tell you for fact that there is a total disconnect between various places of that bank... maybe even teller to teller. FWIW, whatever they tell you in branch does not agree with what they tell you on the phone, or what is in their Service Agreement. Their incompetence knows no bounds, and talking to them is a complete waste of time as they have no clue what they or others are doing, and they have no way to remedy your issues.

Fortunately, I can block calls on my phone so they're being sent directly to the round file from now on. My condolences if you cannot block these incompetent fools.

Two calls so far; showing as Toll Free Caller.  I haven't answered.  I just called them back.  Chase answered.  Then I went to chase.com and the number is listed as "online and mobile banking support".  I do have an account with them; but no problems with the account so actually no reason for them to be calling me.

As stated, it IS unfortunate that some of you are receiving calls even though you don't have an account with them.  If so, have you answered and ask them to stop calling?

this is chase bank.  I had to have them call me cause they wouldn't text me at all to my number to let me login to my bank account.  This verification thing is starting to get FREAKING ANNOYING.

This is Chase bank and is a legitimate number where a robocaller verifies your identity for web logons.  If you don't have a Chase account then that must be a scammer spoofing the caller ID to slip past spam filters, or someone created a bank account with false info.  People who aren't Chase customers would be fine blocking this ID since they don't have a need for calls from Chase anyhow.  Even if you are a Chase customer, they can verify your identity by SMS if you prefer.

This is obviously not Chase bank. The robocall message (stating urgent need to locate you, claiming the law authorizes them to call all references on file if they don't hear from you) left by this number is nearly identical to the message left by another number (877-214-2394) claiming to be a different bank in Canada. I'm getting calls/messages from both numbers so they're clearly part of the same scam, probably done by spoofing banks' legitimate phone numbers. Do not provide ANY info to this scammer. Instead, call the customer support number of your bank to verify any calls about your account if you're worried.

This number apparently from Chase is a spam. The person left a message saying I am facing foreclosure. As another comment notice, the person speaking has a heavy foreign accent with a very common American name. I think is a fraud.

It's Chase, and, legit.  Had reset my cookies and Chase asked to verify (a setting that I approved of) via a phone number or email on file before allowing access to site.

The number may belong to Chase....left me a message after 3 calls in 4 minutes at my work number that they were trying to give me an ID number.....I contacted Chase through my online account, and they responded that they haven't tried to contact me at all, and they don't have my work number listed on the account, and this was probably a spoofed call.

Called Chase after getting an automated call from this number. The message was press 1 for your pin code for opening your account. We did not request a new account; we don't even bank with Chase. The representative at Chase says they would not call with a pin number, that they only send a pin through the mail. She identified the call as phishing.

    SickofLoosers!
Received call today and we have no accounts with Chase currently or in the past. If it's a legitimate number for Chase's automated system (which appears to be if you call it back) it may have been hijacked. It's really crappy there are so many scam artist out there every second of every day trying to take what you work hard for because they are too damn sorry to get out in the real world to earn an honest living. If you lie cheat steal there's no excuse YOU SUCK! If you need money, earn it ~ get a job if you have one and still need money get a second, third and so on. KARMA is a real "B" when she comes around and oh she comes around ~ when you least expect it!
