- krystal replies to Mrs| 3 repliesValarity is the inhouse collection office for Mercy Hospital. Just an FYI cause my husbands clinic bill was turned over to them because they didn't like the payment we are making every month...
- Krystal replies to Bailey M| 7 repliesYes it is Valarity. It is the in house collector for Mercy Hospitals.
- LeeThey called for me but I was gone. And I will continue to be gone since you're too stupid to leave a message.
- sdays replies to Krystal| 5 repliesI received a call from this number today saying he was with valarity and wanted to discuss a matter with me. He then asked me to verify my birthday. I asked him what valarity was and he said he couldn't didcuss that under federal law. He then very rudely told me to tell him my birthday again. I told him I don't feel comfortable and would not give my birthdate to someone whom I don't know he represents. He then said he cannot disclose that under federal law. I said good bye then.

Great sentence structure... - jemend replies to JudyYou are quite naive. Did you not read any of the comments. I get calls from this number and owe no medical bills or other unpaid bills. It does no good to talk to these people. Just refuse to answer.

- ex bill collecter| 1 replyIf it really is a collection agency for mercy u need to find the right person at mercy to complain to and they may fire that collection agency for bad practices unless it is an in house collection then ur pretty much sol don't blame all collectors for just the few that give the others a bad name.
- ex bill collecter replies to karlaYes u r an idiot if u look up the law the fdcpa (fair debt collectors practice act) it is against the law to divulge u r trying to collect money, or name of company to someone if it isn't the person u r trying to collect from that person and or company could b heavily fined if they don't abide by the fdcpa.
- Geek replies to ex bill collecterI Googled Valarity and found a local number for them - (314) 364-2652. When I called at 8:03 AM (using *67 so that my number would not be displayed) a gentleman picked up the phone and identified himself as Chris. I advised him that the call may be recorded and then confirmed that the company was Volarity and that they collected debts for Mercy Hospitals. I then attempted to resolve the issue with a debt for a third party and went as far as giving him the last 4 digits of that party's SSN and date of birth. Unfortunately, since I declined to give him my relation to the third party or any other information about myself, he advised me that by law he could not discuss the debt. Now it's true that I was evasive and would not give him my name or any other information about myself -- I have no interest in having my information added to their files. When I asked for his supervisor he told me that he was the Executive Director for the company. This may be the same person as Chris Patterson as mentioned in other posts. What I found surprising was that Chris said he didn't know how I found that number. Since he wouldn't work with me on resolving the issue I called Mercy directly and paid the debt in full for the third party. I also called him back and after begin transferred by a receptionist, advised him that the bill had been paid directly to Mercy. Now if they keep calling, perhaps I'll start calling Chris and reminding him that the bill was paid.
Hopefully other folks will find this information useful.
