- LoyallyLOST2 charges appeared on my phone bill from 877-257-2455 for the dates of July 27 & August 27 @ midnight for 0 minutes @ $14.95 per. I called Centurytel & told them I had never heard of them. They took the charges off & put a 'dispute' on my account for 90 days, til I get it resolved. I called the DAY I got the bill. That is always helpful. Don't wait! They told me I didn't have to call back with the results after I contacted this company 'Ideal Savings' to resolve the issue.
I called & got, yup~some guy from India. I came unglued on him! He told me that I had signed up for voice mail over the internet. Nope. Didn't happen. I told him I have an answering machine & don't have a use for voice mail. I'm not a business, so therefore, don't need it & don't want it. He gave me a bogus email address he said I used
& there is no such addy like that. I even tried to access this email & it doesn't exist. He told me it was my first initial followed by my last name @. I don't use that form of id when I do my email. So, again~bogus. I told him this is a scam & I that I had informed my phone company. He told me he would take one of the charges off & cancel my membership & send me a $25 gift card. ??? Um..NO! I want both charges off & nothing else! He said he would & that it would take 2 or 3 billing cycles to see it off of there! Why does it take so long? Oy! I told him that if I see any more charges on there, I would take legal action.
Things like this happen to people all the time! ALways take a good look at your statements, whether it be phone or charge. My daughter had to close out her checking account & open a new one at her bank because some company withdrew $159 from her account. She went straight to the bank the day she saw it on her account(another good reason to have online banking instead of waiting til the end of the month for the paper statement!)& since she took care of it immediately, they reimbursed her & took care of everything for her. Again, do not wait! Make calls, dispute it. It is your money & these are all scams! Work with your bank & phone company & charge card companies. They understand these things.- Caller: IDEAL SAVINGS
- Daniel$13.20 to my fax machine
- NotbetakenMy elderly mother recieved a AT&T bill with $28.11 added by TRANSACTION CLEARING # - 1-877-257-245. AT&T said they, by law, had to forward this charge and told us to call the number to dispute it. I did, with the speaker phone on so Mom could be part of the conversation since it was her account that was being charged. I figured the agent would need her approval to discuss her account information with someone other than her. Instead, he asked me to turn the speaker phone off. But since I refused, he hung up.
- San Antonio replies to Tom| 1 replyI also recieved a bill for a collect call that was NOT accepted and probably not even made. So I contacted AT&T about the problem and they immediately removed the charge. They did say however that the company good come after me for the amount. I hope they do! So in reading "Tom's" post about the San Antonio number I figured I'd give them a call. My collect call actually originated from a pay phone in Yuma Arizona. I used peoplefinder services to get that information (5 bucks). Anyway, the young lady I spoke with said they handle collections for a lot of companies and that they weren't responsible. That's funny because Transaction Clearing seems to be the one on the bill. Well bottom line, the young lady, Sarah, patiently let me vent and then we hung up. Here's a suggestion. Anyone having the same issue, call the San Antonio number and let them know your not happy.
- heroayDO NOT PAY THESE DAMNED THIEVES! Look at their web site, they offer phone services to INMATES! And have a convenient 800 number where scammers can make long distance COLLECT calls. It's a cynical racket, and both AT&T and the corrupt government of the US is behind it. Somebody out there is fleecing the sheeple for not paying attention to their bills. Pay your bill in full, and to hell with these SOBs! Just happened to me for the second time, so if AT&T hasn't done anything, nor any gov agency, federal or state, then the thieves are seating in CONgre$$ too.

- heroayHey people! I just thought of it! Why these scammers make calls from all over the US, and nobody touches them, even though the 'companies' seem real and indictable for their scam? Including AT&T... IT MUST BE THE ISRAELI MOSSAD AND THE CIA, RUNNING JUST ONE MORE THIEVING SCAM AGAINST AMERICANS! And I bet you they do it all over the world, like the email scam pretending millions are available for 'transfer' into personal accounts. DO NO PAY THEM A PENNY TO THESE SOBs! AT&T cannot make you pay that money, so long as you don't owe it to THEM, and you pay your personal charges in full.

- mmick8our restaurant business phone was also hit with this scam.. i called the number of the company. my first phone call was transfered to a voicemail that was full. i immediately called back and was able to speak to someone. i got the run around, was told only a partial refund. i demanded to speak to a supervisor. finally got a supervisor, got a confirmation number for a refund. they say it takes 1-2 billing cycles.
after that i called at&t. i explained the situation, and the at&t rep. was well aware of this company and their scam. she was more than helpful and put notes into our account in regards to the pending refund. she also advised us to pay our bill less the fraudulent charges.
because we are in california, we were unable to put a 3rd party billing block on our phones, but instead for free we put a collect call block on our phones, problem solved.
1) always call the scammer first and try and get it resolved.
2) don't give up. insist to speak to a supervisor.
3) get a confirmation or something in writing in regards to the refund
4) call your phone service providor, explain the situation, and in just a couple of minutes they will note your account.
5) if in 2 billing cycles the scammer has not credited, At&t will then automatically remove the charge.
6) put a collect call block on your phone for free.- Caller: Billwithus, inc

Same situation, just got this new bill today with the unrecognized bill of 14.40. called AT&T and said that i was scammed, they said they couldn't see this bill attached on their systems, and that I had to call the 1800 # provided. Did just that, an Indian accent lady picked up, and offered me a 70% discount on the bill and gave me a confirmation #. i'm really bummed out, since it was a total scam and my first month with AT&T, awful for a 1st time customer. gonna call AT&T tomorrow and tell them to take this scam off my bill otherwise i'm gone.- Caller: EVOICESERVICE, INC
- Will B. EvenI cannot believe I got a bill for a collect call from 520-293-9907 billed on behalf of billwithus, listed on the at&t bill as trscn clrng. For the life of me I could not fiqure out what trxcn clrng was, but thanks to all of you out there I now know. Like alot of you I only use my # for dsl, so how could this happen? I will not rest until these criminals and all their partners (including anyone directly working for them) are brought to justice. I WILL make as much noise as possible. I WILL file complants with all jurisdictions. I Will complain to anyone that may have some effect. I WILL do anything I can think of to annoy them. I WILL attempt to sue them on behalf of all they have stolen from. I WILL do all of this as legal as the law will allow. All of you demand your money back and file reports to the authorities. DON'T JUST GET YOUR MONEY BACK... STOP THESE THIEVES!!!
- DaphbirdBogus collect call charges billed to my home phone number on my AT&T bill from LOS LUNAS NM 505 865-5508. On the last page of my monthly phone bill this appeared as a Long Distance item billed on behalf of EVOICESERVICE,INC.#. This itemized call supposedly took place on 9-11 at 953P for 6.0 minutes to the tune of $10.80 plus Federal taxes of .32 and the last line on my bill read, '#New services provided and billed Total TRSCN CLRNG $11.12. Called AT&T and although unable to remove the charge from my bill, AT&T filed a complaint and advised me to pay my bill MINUS the charge in question. Hope everyone out there is following up on this scam and taking appropriate action. DO NOT PAY THESE CROOKS. CONTACT BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and anyone else who can help shut this down.
- birdybird427| 5 repliesThis stuff is still going on and please file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau so these crooks can be caught. I had the same problems with Billwithus, Inc. and/or Transaction Clearing, but when I was able to get ahold of someone, they were very rude, told me my answering machine could have accepted the call, and that I had to pay the charges. Bull crap, so I called my phone service carrier to have the charges taken off my bill. Please let people know and educate others to really check their phone bills, since this company is sneaking and only does one or two charges at a time, so we consumers don't realize they are stealing from us.
- WIL replies to Roz| 1 replyI also received a fraud bill from this carrier. What is more annoying, AT&T my telephone company, advises that the matter has to be taken up with Tel 877-257-2455. I did and a credit is being issued. AT&T has some nerve to allow a customer to be charged $7.42 without security measures to assure no bogus bill submissions!!
- Tired of this sh*t!| 7 repliesI got a charge for 7.20 on my phone bill for a 3 minute collect call to my house on a day when I wasn't even home.
So I called AT&T and told them about the charge and they said I need to call the third party billing company, and that they would put the $7.20 charge in dispute, but that the third party billing company would have to send a request to credit it back.
So I called the number and they said that they would send a credit to AT&T that would take effect within 2 billing cycles.
I also asked how this could be prevented further and she said to call AT&T back and have them put a third party billing block on my phone line.
I called AT&T back and they said they couldn't do that because then AT&T would also be blocked. I was like and, so why can't you do it?
She said we just can't. I GOT FURIOUS!!!
I was like cancel my services NOW! How the hell can some random person place a charge on a bill to me that YOUR responsible for generating.
Then she said, well I can put a block for that third party company only and that it wouldn't prevent others from doing it.
I'M SO TIRED OF THESE SCAMS BY OUR OWN PROVIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! - TL| 1 replyI had a similar experience as the above posts. I noticed my AT&T bill was higher than normal and discovered the following on my bill:
Billed on Behalf of EVOICESERVICE, INC. #
Itemized Calls:
Date: 10-23
Time: 1057A
Minutes: 4.0
Total TRSCN CLRNG: $8.40
Phone #: COLLECT FROM TUCSON AZ 520 293-9911
We only use the phone number this was billed to for VOIP & reporting power outages. Since we don't receive calls on this phone the ringer is never on. No one else was home that day and I certainly didn't accept any collect calls. (Since the ringer was off I never heard the phone ring.) I don't know anyone who lives in Arizona, nor do I give that number out for anyone to call. Thus it's impossible that these are legitimate charges. I did a reverse search on the 520 number and learned it is a landline based in Tucson, AZ (Pima county) and is unpublished. The carrier is Qwest Corporation. I tried calling it about 1:50 today & it just rang & rang. The latitude and longitude listed can be seen by following this link:

I called AT&T first and they told me I had to call TRSCN Clearing at 877-257-2455 since the charges were through them. Luckily I looked up their number online & found this site before calling. I called them about 1:30 pm today. The automated system had me on hold for a couple minutes. However, they must now be very aware of their problem. The lady answered and asked me for my phone number. She then asked if I had received a collect call on my bill (yes) and did I answer that call (no). She said she would credit the entire amount and that it would take 1-2 billing cycles. I asked for a confirmation number and she gave me one (which turned out to be my phone number followed my today's date). I called AT&T back, told them I had called TRSCN Clearing & that I had a confirmation number for them. The lady recorded it and I verified that I should pay the total minus the collect call. She said that
was correct.
I may do a little more online investigating. If I find anything useful I will post it here. Hopefully the scamming will stop!- Caller: EVOICESERVICE, INC.
- TL replies to TLAs a follow up, I wanted to let everyone know that I reported them to the FTC. You can do the same with this link: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

- mctWhat is a 3rd party call anyway?
I just got a charge from that # for $39.95 on my phone bill. - TPCI received a charge from EVOICESERVICE, INC for $13.20. I contacted AT&T by way of AT&T website and chatted with an agent. She put a 3rd party billing block on my account and she reversed the $13.20 as a dispute. I won't be paying the $13.20 or any other future charges from EVOICESERVICE. Thanks AT&T.
