I have not made any personal agreements with this company nor calls
further am contracting Channel 7 KGO help me with above matter
I feel these charges was not made ( myself ) and I have no personal
reason pay these fraudlent charges assign my home phone account
I will seek legal assitance fight these charges, to fullest of law
please govern yourself these pressing factors at this time

David L. Johnson - GMSame complaint as the other messages, AT&T customer service folks have been very nice but provided contradicting information month by month. I had 3rd party block put on my account last month and received another charge on the bill I received for this month, charged for two months this time since I contested last month and received a credit. This month AT&T told me there is no such thing as 3rd party block. Customer service has been counter-productive, suggest everyone call AT&T fraud dept direct at (800) 438-5678, monday thru friday. If the fraud department becomes inundated with these fraud complaints perhaps they will put a stop to the scam. Good luck- GM

The ATT rep is asking to give them a chance to take care of the problem without tearing them a new hole first. That's what I usually try to do, and if I'm frustrated I let them know that CALMLY at the beginning of the conversation. If in event the rep personally treats me wrong then I can give them my fill on it in a stern a tone as I'm feeling and ask for a supervisor. My point is to remain objective, as I've been in enough customer service situations to know how pointless and time wasting it is to sit there and rip on someone who may have had nothing to do with your issue in the first place.

AT&T didn't help me and REFUSED to tell me the corporate officers name and state of incorporation ( where they legaly reside)or even thier address! Really how can a company that is nationwide and as large as AT&T, receive all of these complaints and continue to charge this to their customers bills? They must have some type of investigative department, which goes and checks on the legitimacy of they businesses they work with! This is extortion! AT&T is preying on the fact that in this busy world folks don't take the time to open and review their bills, most just simply pay them! Can you imagine how much money these people are making?
- Jersey replies to CharlesSame number tagged on bill to Verizon account. Called verizon to block 3rd party billing. They were useless as far as a refund of past two months of 3rd party billing. Verizon sent me back to the 877 number to clarify the problem. WRONG ANSWER.
- Dvan34I am going through the same thing. ComLink Direct EFAX , LLC began charging $14.95 for service. I do not need, have or use EFAX. Trying to deal with these people and AT&T is futile. I have received Craming charges on my bill before. Finally I ordered all such services blocked as per the FTC. They are still occurring. I have reported this to the Att. General, CA Consumer Agency, the FTC and the FCC. These charges should stop and the perpatrators should be sued or arrested.

- ReallyPissedI just received my bill from AT&T and there was a charge for $14.95 from a company called Comlink Direct, LLC. It further noted that this was a montly service fee. I have never heard of this company and I am sure that I did not authorize them to bill me for high speed internet, when I already have DSL service from AT&T. They are not open today to cancel with them, but this sounds like an illegal scam. They may be sending out phishing e-mails under the AT&T name that appear to be something else. I usually dont fall these types of scams, but somehow they have my account information.
- ToniI am an AT&T customer that also had two monthly bogus charges for each for efax service I never requested. The most disconcerting part of this was that WVM Network refused to proceed with reversing the charges without obtaining my personal information under the guise that they needed to verify the info against their records showiong I had authorized the charges. Also, It will take 30 to 60 days for the removal of the charges to be reflected on my bill.
While AT&T was cooperative in designating the charges as disputed and did not require that I pay them They should also be held accountable for having systems unable to identify these types of transactions. I do plan to file a complaint.- Caller: I called AT&T

- Glenn, HoustonReceived TRSCN CLRNG cram charge from Comlink DIrect, LLC. Called AT&T rep Jason (Operator # JC067Y) who stated I would have to buy UVerse to be able to block crams. Obviously, AT&T is taking advantage of their customers by not blocking this number when requested to do so and then trying to further take advantage of their customers by offering a service under false pre-tenses. While I am going to report this to the FCC under their cramming complaint website, the only real recourse is to get rid of the AT&T land lines (no wonder why they are dying). Tomorrow I will reduce my 6 land lines to 4 (I have 4 business lines) and each time I have a problem with one of their customer service reps I will get rid of more lines.

- Patanne replies to jimI was charged by TRNS CLRNG on my October bill. I called, they said it was for a fax. I never sent a fax and have no knowledge of this company. I contacted ATT and they said they would remove it from my bill but it would take 2-3 billing cycles. I am now in to the third cycle and have told ATT they may not allow 3rd party billing and they said it would be noted on my account.
Every month I get an additional fee for late charge. I will have to dtop ATT from my Direct TV,cell and home phone service and internet if it is not resolved in my next bill - C M Wilson replies to EpiphanyI had 2 $14.95 charges accumulated on my previous month's AT&T phone bill. I called the 877-257-2455 and the person who I talked to agreed to have the charges credited since I had convinced her I had not authorized such a charge. Then I paid my AT&T phone bill, excluding these 3rd party charges. I received my bill today for this period ending but it added what I had eliminated as past due charges. My action on this bill is going to pay the bill for what I authorize, eliminating the carry-forward unpaid balance. I will advise AT&T just how I am paying - without the 3rd party charges. I will send AT&T a letter explaining my payment. I will also advise them that another incorrect billing will be followed by my cancellation of my approximately sixty dollars a month phone service. And that is what I will do.
- tak1113I too have had charges from Comlink Direct. Last months AT&T statement had charges for October and November. Contacted AT&T and they removed the charges, but could never get Comlink Direct to answer their phones. Then on our current statement their are charges for 4-01-11. IT"S JANUARY! Do they think I won't look at my bill!

The Transaction Clearing LLC with above number billed me but did never call. - MaverickIn Oct. I received a charge for 14.95+tax to a company Nexgen Connect, LLC for Transaction Clearing. I have tried to call and always get the message that the office is closed then the line hangs up. I called AT&T to dispute the charge. They have been very helpful though we are not threw the woods yet. Hope this will be resolved though I don't see a way to stop it from happening in the future. Keep an eye on the charges.
