- Glenda KolarikI have been trying to get rid of this $29.90 charge from TRSCN CLRNG on my AT&T bill since October.
September charge showed up on October 2010 bill. AT&T customer service assured us that we would be refunded/credited for the charge. It was at this time that I set up a "password" which would prohibit any "additional services" being added without the password being given. Same charge showed up in November 2010. Another phone call to customer service resulted in us being told that, in order to avoid the additional charge, we would need to sign up for UVERSE. Sounded like a good deal UNTIL I was told that I would be REQUIRED to accept a charge to to any charge or debit card I have. Since I have neither, I was not only deemed unqualified for Uverse but have been told that, if I want to be reimbursed for the accumulative charges, I should report the company to the FCC, the Attorney Genera, our local legislative rep & to hire a lawyer to take action against AT&T. This came from an AT&T customer service rep. You know darn good & well that AT&T charges a fee to these ppl that are intent on extorting money from common folk & charging for services not provided.- Caller: AT&T

- GeorgeI had the same problem with this company so last month I called them and complained that I did not authorize these charges so take them off and they did but this month billed me again for the same months they had given me credit for. So I will be calling again and complaining to them.

- Namnibor| 1 replyI too have been dealing with Rask Network/Transaction Clearing, LLC for three months now. ATT has been crediting my account but last time I called them they were rather snarky with me and told them I had called TC and each time got someone that obviously knew more Spanish than English and even laughed at and hung-up on so contacted them yet again via email address http://www.transactionclearing.com/support.php I have recently moved and new number I got i made it unlisted from the getgo and ATT actually would not via phone block ALL third pty billing rather, they sent me an Anti-Slamming form to fill out and sent to ATT at an address in Florida for new number. Last phone bill carrying-over from old phone bill had yet another charge from them and another co. and ATT added it to my new phone # account bill, the one I had to deal with snarky ATT rep. If for some reason these charges keep appearing associated with new unlisted number or my last number from other address across Metro area, I will finally wash my hands of ATT and get digital phone service. I was equally annoyed with ATT if I may rant a bit more in that when I moved mid-Nov.and transfered service and rec'vd. a new number because of the zip code change, I was told by ATT rep there was no svc. charge for this transfer of service and in three years at that address and number I NEVER was late for one payment. Well, last bill ATT charged a change of service fee of $29.99 and they would not take that off and the ATT rep. went on about trying to get me to get internet and cable through them even when I told them in course of call I was not interested in any changes to save her breath, nor be bothered by the many mailings as well trying to get me to switch. Would you know the very next day I had two young (looked like students) with clipboards knock on my door wanting to get me to switch. Did not let them in apartment but they were very defensive in answering to my comments how I get better customer svc with my cable provider. The female of the pair laughed and said I was mistaken that ATT has best cust. svc. and I told them if that were the case, ATT would have honored my request to stop pressuring me to want to switch.

- Namnibor replies to NamniborForgot to add that ATT said they can only block -5- third party billing entities at a time and that they had no record of my anti-slamming form sent FROM them by my request that I had sent back to ATT address on form in Florida. Did some research and found that this is all happening because during George W. Bush's presidency he signed into law some telecommunications DEREGULATION Law that ALLOWED third pty billing for the big bell companies due to them complaining that the other major cell phone co.'s allow third pty billing so they can download ringtones, apps, etc. and needed this deregulation to fairly compete. What BS! I cannot place third pty bills to my phone but these scammers can and ATT cannot or rather WILL NOT do anything to prevent this. I've only kept the landline with ATT because as a recently Disabled veteran with many chronic health issues, did not want to be in a situation where if I had digital phone and the power went out, I would also not have a way to call for medical help, whereas with a landline, one usually will still have regualr phone svc if power goes out. My cable co. says they are actually working on that part of digital phone and once they do I will get rid of ATT once and for all. However, ATT probably will have a $29.99 svc. fee for dropping them in guise of some svc fee category. Whatever happened to the integrity of the customer is always right? Has this now become a cliche`?
- Carolyn HellbentFound this charge on my phone bill and called after a weekend. Never heard of them, never used them and I'm not paying them. Told them to cancel and I want charges dropped. Shame, shame on you ATT.

- ce replies to JMM| 2 repliesThis was on my Verizon bill this time also. 14.95 charged twice. Calling them today and if they don't take care of it I will be doing away with my home phone. This is ridiculous! I agree that these phone companies can't or should I say won't stop this before they add it to our bills. You can't tell me that they are that stupid to not see what is going on.
- Ditto in Cheverly, MDThis site was so helpful, comforting to know I was not alone; and while I have had senior moments, I didn't recall signing for services with SECURATDAT Inc, at $11.95 per month, or Bus2Bus at $19.95 per month, both beginning in Sept 2010; however Verizon has been charging us these fees since that time. I realized that there had been an increase in the billing, but rushed I just paid the bill and considered changing plans or phone companies. It's now January 2011 -I called Verizon about the charges I did not understand.Iwas toldto call the numbers provided on the bill about the service and cancellation. In addition, I was given the same jibberish that those messages before mine were given about 3rd party billing. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction with them for passing the bill along with no verification from me, as well as my desire to CANCEL these services I never ordered, they did agree tocredit me for the Bus2Bus bill for December. That company also agreed to send me a check for all of the charges to my phone account-approx $80. However SECURADAT was another story. The person I spoke with said she could send a credit for Nov.and Dec. back to Verizon; however I would have to email the company for a refund for Sept. and Oct since they were over 90 days old. I came upon this site as I was looking for their email address. SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE
- ladytriaxle replies to ceIam going through the same thing tell verizon to put a 3rd party block on your line com link direct is a scam and i cant understand how they keep getting away with this for two months they have been putting charges on my phone bill make a complaint with the fereral trade commision
- Section 8I noticed my Verizon Bill was higher than usual, so I contacted Verizon and they put a block on 3rd party billing, Verizon then transferred me to Rask where I spoke with a woman named Barbara. She had no problem in getting me a credit and cancelling the service (some kind of fax-from-PC service). I told her that I had never signed up for the service and had no reason for the service. If the charge shows up again next month, I'm going to raise hell.
- MaggieI just opened my Verizon bill that I received yesterday. Had to review other bills because it didn't look right. Found I had been charged $14.95 on 4 separate bills. I called them and demanded a manager since I couldn't talk to the first quiet rep. She said it is an Electronic Fax service that my husband signed up for on 10/5/10 while at website www.lookhere4jobs.com. Now I have to wait for him to come home to ask if he knows anything about it. I am 100% sure he didn't sign up for it. WE HAVE A WORKING FAX MACHINE IN THE HOUSE THAT SERVES ALL OUR NEEDS!! Why would we want an electronic fax service? Tried to call Verizon also and after going through ALL the prompts the rep said they were upgrading the system at this time and to call back later. How convenient!! Also see several charges for Adult Features at $14.99 each. No wonder I can't catch up with paying my Verizon bill on time!! Total $150 extra charges!!

- HarryI've just experince the same crap... Fetch Unlimited billed a number that didn't even belong to me. I've sent out a complaint to Florida's Attorney General to reslove this issue. I'm still trying to figure out how AT&T allowed a charges to someone else phone
- Bea replies to ceI too was charged twice at 14.95. I was furious. I called Verizon they could not tell me what it was for; they said they had the right to give third party billing my number. I thing that is ridiculous. I then called the 877 number and they said I signed up for it through the internet, I don't even have internet service. How do you like that.
- AnonymousI work for AT&T's billing department, and these charges appear far more often than we would like, I know they are frustrating, and most of the time unauthorized, but we have no control over these charges since they are submitted through a third party. We can make adjustments and block them from future billing but there is often some wait time to get things done and you may get another bill with charges on it before the matter is resolved.
Please remember that the next time you are screaming profanity at your AT&T Rep, we are here to help you, not screw you over! - AnnSThis place is a total rip off - United Prosolve LLC - they ramble on telling you they will send you information but you are really authorizing them to start charging your phone bill!!

- gnjbuxton replies to EpiphanyI'm looking at a bill from AT&T trying to decide what to do next. I got a 14.95/mo chg for 6 months. AT&T told me I'd have to talk to third party, which I did. "Third Party" was nice and told me they could credit me for 3 months but not 6 months, they gave me a confirmation # and told me to email this Proceessing Center in Palm Harbor Florida and I would hear from them within 24 hours and they would credit me for the other $45.00. AT&T told me this call was from a faxing service. I don't own a fax machine and have never ever rec'd a call like that. I have the amount of my bill deducted from bank account, so was so easy for this to happen and me not notice. I am a Sr. Citizen and need help on how to handle these scams. Can anyone tell me the best way to get my money back. I'm not a company, but a person on limited income and this is lots of money to me.
- Andy Pa.I just noticed the $14.95 on my verizon bill. I called Vz and questioned the charge. They said it was for another provider. I almost went ballistic. You mean you can't control what charges appear on YOUR BILL???? Anyway these fraudulent charges from WVM Networks going back to Dec were deleted and VZ credited my account $89.70 immediately!!!
- TinaI recvd a cut on my Att bill, I DID NOT order or request this! This is my third request to have this removed. Do I need to go to court for this? Because I will. I do not want to see this again.
