- ZorbinI just received a call/message, from this number. It automatically was rejected (have phone set that way), but could leave a message. I check message. All it said, with a deep female foreign accent, "This is a message." That's it. Nothing else. After reading all the other posts, glad it was rejected. Thing is, yes, I have Cap One cards, but I'm never late.

- CelticDragon replies to Legion| 4 repliesEver stop to think that the number might have been spoofed to make the caller seem legit?
- Legion replies to CelticDragon| 3 repliesIt does not matter to us. If just one person smashes any of those listed, it will be worth whatever the cost to anyone's personal freedom that has been violated!
- CelticDragon replies to LegionIf you call someone who's number has been spoofed repetitively, that makes you no better than the scammers spoofing the number in the first place. You don't like to be harassed, I get that, but that DOESN'T give you the right to harass others. Don't like what I say? Shove it where the sun don't shine. That's how it is
- WolfmanJack replies to LegionSo much better to do it you childish way than to do it properly. By making reports to the proper agencies, sending them a certified return receipt letter, and then ultimately suing them and collecting money from them instead of the other way around.

They list addresses in Mumbai, India, and Amherst, NY, both known havens for criminal debt collection operations.
BBB page for firstsource lists an accredited business A+ rating, but they have 142 complaints and 1 negative review, meaning that they have paid enough money to the BBB for the high of a rating: http://www.bbb.org/upstate-new-york/business- ... st-ny-47000806/

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

- MarkJust got a call on my cell phone from them, saying that the call was being recorded. Asked to speak to a Deborah Austin, and I told them that I never heard of that person, and that they had the wrong number. She said it was related to a personal matter, and hung up on me. Didn't even say good bye.
- KatNo msg left. Just ignore ignore ignore!
Waste of time! Most likely scam!
Caller ID showed 800 service. That right away gives it away! Don't bother
