Yes I definitely agree. I got a call as well and when I called back to figure out who they were and why they thought I owed them money they couldn't tell me anything. I don't care if they are a medical collection agency, if they can't tell me who they are collecting it for, the date of service and how much I owe then they aren't going to get my money. The two people I spoke to where so rude and obviously had NO idea what the hell they were talking about..It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever dealt with, even if they are a collection agency, be straight up you won't get anywhere trying to act secretive and shady..

Company called and stated they were a collection agency for a hospital bill I owed which is a year past due.  I never received such a bill in the mail.  He said they didn't have my address.  I know the hosptial and insurance both have my address. He wanted me to give him my credit card info and pay by phone.  I told him to mail me a copy of the bill and I would verify the info first.  He hung up.

This is a collections company. My hospital bills got turned over to them and they receive my payments now. They are legit as far as I can tell as the balance is right on and the hospital is correct.

I just moved, got a new job, and been at this job for a month, and today I was at work, and I recived a call from them on my work number. How in the Hell did they find my work number? I cant fingure it out, cause I didnt even know who they were until I came home and looked them up online. And my staff are like whats going on??? I was pissed, adn something mich be done. I have no bills outstanding, and  I am a desent and honest person. I pay my loans!
And my staff asked who this was, and they would not give a name, except who they were. And they would give no other message. And that hey would call back. I will let them know that I contacted the police, and  my freinds that do investigations. That will be interesting to see their reactions.

This company purchases bad debt from doctors and hospitals for pennies on the dollar.  The debt would have been treated as a tax write off or loss by the medical facility.  This is why they will never send you a hard copy of the alleged debt when asked.  Had I been billed for the service that they allege that I owe I would have disputed it with my insurance and would have won.

This company purchases bad medical debt for pennies on the dollar.  These are debts that your insurance rejected payment on for a specific reason.  The medical practice writes off the debt on their taxes as a loss and the "billing office" can get lucky with payments someone agreeing to make payments once in a while.

I just got six calls by this stupid number in the last day and I never answer and they never leave me VM but when I call back they will not say who they are but expect me to give my name. Which obviously I will not do. GRRRR They are so annoying. I am in college and I want to kick there booty!!!

These people have called several times in the last year.  They leave a robo-message on the answering machine which says that "there will be a 3-second delay."  At that point, the call ends.  I tried to call them back and I get a "business office" that is open until 9 p.m.  Then it tells me that it is closed.  This was at 7:30 p.m.  I'll not try to call them again.

They called I call back . But no answer. Called again still no answer.I will run number through our intelligence network. Resolve issue. Thank for your call.

I have also received a call from said number. The call just came in to me about 10 minutes ago. I didn't answer because I don't know any one with this area code. I listened to my voice mail and it sounded like a recording which I couldn't hear too well. It sounded like "something Revenue Service." At first I thought it might be the IRS, but after doing some googling, it looks like some kind of a scam call ??? I have a small air horn that I keep by my pute, so the next call from them they might get a blast of loud Air Hornery right in their ear. hehe.

I have been called by this number several times at my job. They always leave messages saying that they are looking for Tamara Washington and that if I am not Tamara Washington I should hang up.  Is there anything I can do to stop these calls. I AM NOT TAMARA WASHINGTON and my name is not even close to that name. What the..........

My 9 yr old daughter got a cel phone for Christmas. She's been getting several calls a day from
877-521-6773. At first she tried telling the people who called from that number that she's a  9 yr old kid with a new cel phone & doesn't have any unpaid bills. She got nasty response. My husband told her to bring him the phone the next time they called. She woke us up around 6:am on a Sunday morning with a ringing cel phone in her hand. My husband answered & tried to explain to these people that the phone belongs to our 9 yr old daughter & NOT the person they're calling for. The woman said "yeah sure it does" & hung up. They call her as often as 6 times a day, 7 days a week & they call at ALL hrs...after midnight...6:am. They're rude, claim they KNOW she's who they're calling for & NOT a child & have my daughter completely freaked out!!!!!!

Contact your state ombudsmen's office and report them.  They are legally not allowed to harass you (or your child) on the telephone.  You must tell them you want everything in writing, which leaves them with two options: send you letters, or take you to court.

You also might want to look into filing an FCC complaint as they are probably crossing state lines using a federally-protected service (cell phone).

BTW - They have contacted me, too.  I have resolved it for now by just blocking their number from my phone.  :)

My name is not even close to that name.  How do I make these calls stop.  I am NOT in collections nor have i signed up for anything  that's free.

I called number back,and lady said business office! I ask business office of what? She hung on me! The first call I received,I told the lady my name,then she started asking personal questions and I said until u tell me who u are I'm not giving you any personal information! She goes I don't have all day to argue with you and hangs up! So I call back and lady hangs up again! I hope they call again! They don't know my wife works for US. Government!

My advised to everyone! Do not give any personal info to em! And if I answer,just stay on fone a few seconds! They might be trying to read ur media card!!!

SOMEBODY SHOULD TAKE OUT THESE PEOPLE!
