- JenThey have called me at least 6 times today. They have used different numbers. First call about 8:15 am and then later using 888-357-8573. The last couple of calls the answering machine came on and they shouted out about three times with a name that was not anyone that lives here.
- Caller: scammer
- Call type: Debt collector
- JenniferThe speaker was mostly unintelligible due either to slurred speech or thick accent, but they said they were from medical revenue services and collecting a debt. Definitely a phishing expeditition to get personal information!

- S. HallCall my cell phone - no message or text left. I blocked the number.
- Caller: unknown/no name
- Danielle TilleyMultiple calls and no voicemail
- BarbaraThis caller keeps appearing on my new phone. So frustrating. Leaves no message. I keep getting calls I don't know. Do they recycle old phone numbers when you buy a phone or is this just spam I hear about?
- LeKitia| 1 replyReceived a missed call from this number a few minutes ago, called the number back and they stated that they were Medical Revenue and they needed me to verify my birthday so that they would know that they are speaking to the right person. I informed them that I didn’t feel comfortable giving my personal information and asked them to reach me by mail with the address they have on file. The man on the phone became upset and aggressive and when I told him that he will not call a phone that I’m paying the bill on and he demanding , he became more upset and raised his voice while speaking to me and when I attempted to speak back he hung up the phone on me. I think these are spammers.

- PeteJust got a call on my cell, I hit decline, they left a voicemail. They sounded like they were reading from a script really fast, were intoxicated, slurring their words.
- LizI answered but it immediately started to ring like I was calling. So, i hung up. Phone says "Account Services"
- Caller: Account Services
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- SnoopyThey first verify DoB, address, and say you are recorded. Then ask you to pay medical bill, which can only pay over the phone. They seem rude and hurry. Do not answer this call!
- SuzanneCalled my sister and when I answered and said she wasn’t available the guy said ‘well it’s her phone isn’t it?’ I said to him- you do realize people share phones right? And a landline is commonly used by many people. What a joke. Said he was from MRS which is medical revenue services. Just say who you are and don’t beat around the bush or try to trick people.

- gotcalledGot a recorded call this am with no company name, contact info or callback number – just a recorded voice asked about a house member's name. The box said it was from 887-521-6773 (people have also complained online they also use 866-631-4680), and checking around, it seems it could be from a SCAMMER or unethical collectors (complaints include credit card theft and violating HIPPA /collections laws) that are hiding behind a legit medical collections company. Did some digging online, (at opengovus.com/new-york-business/2060805) and it seems the call might have been from MEDICAL REVENUE SERVICE, a legitimate (but maybe unethical company) based out of four addresses on file --- 755 W Nasa Blvd in Melbourne FL, 128 W Center Ave, Sebring FL, 2001 9th Avenue Ste 312, Vero Beach, FLORIDA 32960 and 645 Walnut St, Gadsden, AL 35901. They are registered in New York as a debt collections agency and their license (# 2060805) is good until Jan 31, 2021 with phone 772-794-9332. It appears the legit company may be a 2nd level medical debt collections agency and collect for a variety of medical debts across the US after the first debt collections company failed to be paid (you should have received plenty of letters and phone calls from the first, as well as the original provider asking for payment), so these may be really old debts (2 – 7 years ago).
**** MEDICAL DATA SYSTEMS, INC is the parent company registered in NY as a FOREIGN BUSINESS CORPORATION and has listed two addresses – 2001 9th Avenue Ste 312, Vero Beach, FLORIDA 32960 (current) with 2150 15th Ave, Vero Beach, FLORIDA 32960 and 1374 S Babcock St, Melbourne, FL 32901 (old from 2017 and 2009). Their website is here (www.meddatsys.com) , their phone is 888-773-2255 and email is info@meddatsys.com – they have an estimated 180 staff and $40M+ in revenue.

- Barbaradon't know half of what they are saying something about collection
- JayDebt collector for my mom that has passed away over two years. So sad and pathetic!
- Caller: Medical revenue service
- Call type: Debt collector
- OperatorCalled a business, asking for unintelligible name, I hung up, called the number back, a hospital, not identified what hospital, billing office. Doesn't sound legit.

- K"this is Medical Revenue Services, attempting to collect a debt..." Except all of my medical debt was settled 2 years ago. Nice try.

- PhishingThis number calls and claims to be collecting debt, but for private identity theft type info (My full name, my SSN - seriously?!). If they were legitimate debt collectors, they would know who I was before they called me. When I refuse to give them private info, they claim they have to have it because of HIPPA. HIPPA protects my info, it does not require me to give it out. Then, when I refuse, they threaten me with "I'll have to report that you refused my phone call!" Yes. I refused their phishing phone call. I believe that I am not in debt to anyone - I have no outstanding bills at the local hospital they claim to be collecting for. So, I believe this is an out-and-out scam.
