If This 18776078957 calls you they wont tell you who they are or were they are at.  They call you and ask for personal info without telling you who they are?  Call the CRTC and report this number.  The police probably cant help you.
When they dont answer my questions, I just tell them F__K Off, I told her to F-off 15 times before she hung up.  

Ils m'ont appelé... pour mon père décédé depuis 3 mois !!! En disant qu'il avait une dette impayée depuis le 3 juillet 2000 chez Zellers, qu'ils avaient envoyé des avis depuis qui n'avaient jamais été répondus, et que la succession devait régler la dette rapidement, selon la loi, bla bla bla.... La femme était baveuse ! elle avait le numéro d'assurance-sociale de mon père et disait qu'elle avait les preuves... OUPS, comme je m'occupais des finances de mon père les 10 dernières avant son décès, je savais que c'était totalement faux !!! Fraude !!! Fraude !!! J'ai raccroché au nez de la mme.

These ppl called me at work twice.  Called them after i called Trans union Canada inc.  Trans Canada has nowhere in my file that i owe this company money.  When i did call 18776078957, i spoke to a young man ego connected me to a woman who was very irate.  I was being cooperative. She would not give me any details on the debt.  She threatened me that she would make sue i never get another credit card in my life and she would "proceed" against me.  Then she hung up.  If they wanted my $$$, would they not have given me info on where to send it.  Also, when i was first connected to this lady, she did not identify herself as any kind of agent, she simply said "Hello.  Who am i taking to?".......seems sketchy!

This is Agency a SMALL TIME collection agency that collects purchased accounts from Banks and retail companies like cell phone past due accounts. All of that stuff is way past the legal statue of limitation in Quebec that is 3 years after the last payment. Call the OPC and place a complaint right away ! First they don't mail the initial letter has the law indicates , althought their system will show that it was mailed , they did not to save the money involved because it's thouands of files monthly , therefore they save well over $100,000 + a year in not respecting the mandatory provincial regulations. This Agency is NOT trusted by the CIBC , TD , RBC or Rogers for example to collect actual dues like trusted agencies such as CBCC,TCR or ARO just to name a few.  DONT GIVE THEM A CENT ! THEY ALREADY PAID YOUR DEBT TOWARDS THE CREDITOR ! MEANING TO WHOM YOUR OWED IT TO ! IT IS STATE BARRED ! Good luck !

There is clown who calls me, says he mailed stuff, hasn't, phones me at work, pain in the butt, calls several times a day on my pay-as-you-go cellphone, I have asked him to stop many times, will phone him tomorrow and ask for his info as per other posts...great to know...BTW I have asked them to stop calling, especially at work...

Plusieurs appels ont été logés à notre bureau. La compagnie est à la recherche d'une personne qui ne travaille et n'habite pas à cet endroit. Une première tentative pour faire cesser ces appels n'a pas permis de faire cesser se accèlement téléphonique. Il semble maintenant impossible de les rejoindre par téléphone... alors il poursuive leurs appels... à qui dois-je porter plainte???

I got a call for someone concerning my Father that passed 10 years ago.  Asked her what it was c pi ncerning and she refused to tell me.

Does a credit company check telephone number?  I do not borrow any money from any one but keep on receiving call to my pay as you go cell phone.

Got a call about a supposed debt incurred by my husband that stemmed from 2006!!!! The guy claimed it was from a MoneyMart transaction when my husband went to cash his pay cheque. My husband hasn't received a CHEQUE in all the time I have been with him and that is 10 years. Everything has always been direct deposit and I handle all the bills. And he has never been into a MoneyMart in his life. My husband doesn't agree with that type of business. Plus they called me on my NEW cell number!!! How the hell did they get my number!?

They claimed that they had sent out numerous letters and called him numerous times to no avail. I told them that was crap because he has always had the same cell number and if they could get my new number then I was sure they could find his. I told them I wanted copies of all the documentation pertaining to the debt and that if they couldn't provide it then I knew this was a scam. The guy got very rude with me and I again demanded copies of the documentation. He said he would send it to the email that they have for my husband (interestingly enough a NEW email that was just set up by me for him about 2 weeks ago). That was over a month ago and I've received nothing.

They called again a few days ago and I gave them hell and AGAIN demanded copies of the documentation to which I was told again that  they would send it to me right away. Again....... NOTHING!!! I also previously told them that I wanted a formal letter regarding this so-called debt and that they could send it to my address. He asked my address and I told him that if he could find my NEW cell number and my husband's BRAND NEW email then I was sure he could get my address and provide the necessary FORMAL DOCUMENTATION. Otherwise, I demanded that they stop calling or take us to court. If they think I'm going to hand over $1100+ just because they say so then they're obviously dumber than they think we are!!!

my mom and i have both recieved phone calls from this number advising that they are calling for for someone else whom we dont even know and we want this number to stop calling us or this number will be reported

I'm a seinor and they call at 7 am for someone that doesn't even live here and they have been told numerous times

This number has been leaving messages for someone that doesn't even belong to this phone number. It has been my number for three years! I have told them more than four times, but they continue to call. They are also very rude when I do actually reach a person.

I have never borrowed money from anyone, or missed any bills or have any loans or unpaid debt. They are calling me , also my friends. I feel like this is a scam. When they called my friends, they asked them about someone they had never heard of before and got quite rude, to the point of verbal abuse, and then hung up on them. My friend, the spit-fire, called back and demanded to be removed from the list, we are reporting them to the RCMP. It has scam written all over it. When a debt collection agency calls you, it HAS all the necessary information. It gets it from your client file to which you own money. If they are asking you stuff they should know already, run. Ask them to communicate with you in writing with the address on file that they so obviously got in conjunction with your private cellphone number, if they are in fact legit.

These guys have had their robots calling my cell phone for over a year and they're looking for someone I've never heard of.  I did, at first, call them back, wait on hold, and then try to reason with an agent.  That never provided any relief.  So, I found an app for my phone called Call Control, and after adding this number to the blacklist, my phone automatically answers and hangs up after half a ring.
