- patThis company has the worst business practices EVER. Their "bills" they sent me for services I did not order had "activation fees" and "invoicing fees" and they reported to me to a collection agency 2 weeks after not paying it.
I'm telling all my friends to stay away from XM. Paying for radio is such a scam anyway, their radio stations have gotten terrible, not to mention the headache when dealing with their business practices. I talked to the manager at the XM customer service and told her my position and she told me over the phone that she didn't care.- Caller: 1-877-683-1155

- MeIn December of 2005, I purchased an XM Satellite Radio as a gift for my Dad. I purchased one year of service, paid-in-full in advance. I never signed a contract with XM Satellite Radio.
For the last five years I have been constantly harassed by XM Radio to purchase a new service plan. They have sent letters through the USPS on a near monthly basis, demanding I purchase a new service plan. The company called my parents' home throughout this time, despite my parents' request that they stop. I served in the United States Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic from 2009 to 2011. My Mother got tired of dealing with them and sarcastically gave them my Dominican phone number if they "really wanted to talk to [me] so bad". XM Satellite Radio called me in the Dominican Republic asking me to purchase a new service plan!!! Four times in one month!!! (It was an automated sales pitch call asking to stay on the line until an operator could be reached. Just for fun, I would let the message play out to rack up more time on their international phone bill. I assume thats the reason they eventually stopped calling me in the DR).
Today, I received a notice from EOS CCA (a collection agency) demanding that I pay a debt to XM Satellite Radio of $45.68. I have contacted the Attorney Generals' Office of the applicable States to reach a resolution.- Caller: X

- Ed B. replies to LindaI had XM in my Malibu which I traded in 11/15/10. I was paid up until 12/15 with my XM and then they decided to add 1 month onto my subscription. Now they want $25 and call me from a computer on that number.
- No friend of XMI have been a loyal XM subscriber for 4 years. Really enjoyed the service. I decided to cancel the service several months ago and went thru the b.s. to cancel my subscription. I have been off the service now for several months and have considered reinstating the service.
Now, I am receiving a collection call?! For what! I cancelled in good faith!
Gee, Mel Karmazin and the XM radio management team must be a pack of absolute morons or really desperate. Where the heck did these people graduate from business school? Let’s see, how can we entice a loyal customer back to our service, let’s get a collection agency to call them. Yea, that could work!
There is something not quite right about this practice. No sane business would use this business model to collect revenue from former customers. This is not a sign of a successful company, but one that is desperate.
XM management, you have just lost a loyal customer….forever. I plan on doing my part to spread the word on what I think of your service. Hope I help to cancel a few more subscriptions. I’ll do my best.
What idiots.- Caller: ?
- Tracy from Syracuse replies to LindaThats funny because I just received a call from them as well and it must be for XM Radio because I too decided not to renew my subscription ...
- karenOMFG...they are calling my work and leaving recorded messages asking for $36.00...because they did the same crap as they did to the others on this site...kept my service on for two months after i didn't continue paying because i didn't want it any longer.....turn the [***] off if the person doesn't pay! i swear this has got to be illegal! i didn't sign ANY contract indictating they could do this....i see a class action lawsuit coming, too....

- AmandaI had the same issue of these people calling, and after wasting much of my own time I finally found out why they were calling me. Apparently, even though I never signed a contract with them and just figured that when my subscription was up that it would be over, the continued to send a signal to my radio for an additional month past my subscription date. So even though I only paid $25 for a four month trial subscription, I had to pay $37 for an addition month that I never wanted or needed. They claim that I never called to cancel my subscription and therefore they added more time on to my subscription without my consent. Their business practices are awful and their service is terrible. No one should ever subscribe to SiriusXM, and hopefully the company will declare bankruptcy with in the year.

- perfect creditAt age 54 I got my first "collections" letter from XMRADIO c/o EOS CCA. I called this morning, 1800xmradio and talked to Matt from a foreign country, because we couldn't agree to clear up a "$38.32 past due amount" I asked to speak with his supervisor. I was put on hold for a "few songs" and then Matt came back on the line to say there is no one available, "please call 18778599172." This number is the "collections agency." I'm not at all sure it isn't the desk next to Matt's...anyway...I talked first to William, strong voice, committed to the "auto renewal...YOU OWE THIS" line, then, Karen...also committed but in a softer way. I explained I signed up via phone while in my car, 5 months LOW price, and paid with credit...but NO explanation of auto renew! William said..."what company is going to explain that all to you on the phone?" I'm thinking, NO. This is where I put my foot down. I don't believe with all the complaints about this company that this practice will go on for very long. No. nope, nada, zero, zilch...that's what I'm paying today.

- Mark CrowlCall back number is 877-208-4176 and the company was identified as EOSPCA on the canned message.. The call came in to both my home and office phone. They wanted to talk to Kris Crowl. My wife is Kris Crowl but we don't have any debt for them to collect. They would not tell me the name of the merchant. They verified my current address and said it did not match the one they have. I told them I have a former daughter-in-law named Christina Crowl who lives in Portland OR area.
I asked to be put on their DO NOT CALL list and was told it would take at least 24 hours to be taken off their auto dialer. Since then I have received two more incoming calls. I called back and asked for a supervisor. They hung up. I called back again and told them I do not want anymore phone calls. They said they can't stop them and when I said I would report them the sassy woman rep said:"Well you go ahead and report us" and hung up. These people need to be muzzled and fined.- Caller: EOSPCA
