- MarkSame deal here. Paid for 3 months, it was up at the end of August and XM kept calling me and emailing urging to renew, but I didn't want to and just ignored. Now I get a call from this agency saying I owe for a final bill. They are rude as can be too.
- MCsame here, I had XM radio and I decided not to renew it and now they are calling... what's going on????
Law Action Suit for sure.- Caller: EOS CCA

- JJensonGetting sales calls everyday at all hours waking my kids. We are on both the national do not call and XM do not call list but are still being harassed to sign up for the service.

- JohnI got the call and immediately called Sirius asking them why a collection agency was calling me. I tried to be as polite and calm as possible. After a 10 minute hold, the Sirius agent (Jake #30550) said that he was sorry for the calls, that my balance of $46 would be removed, and that it would take 7-10 days for the collection agency to update my account. Guess honey catches more flies than vinegar.
Good luck.- Caller: EEOCCA 877.683.1155

- JDWow, I'm just shocked that a company like XM is willing to go down this shady path. It was interesting reading how all of you had the exact thing happen! I will speak poorly of XM radio to everyone who will listen. This whole thing seems like such a shady scam, and all for less than 40 bucks. Everyone I spoke with was unpleasant and uncooperative. Not worth getting this worked up over 40 bucks! I'm sure that's what they're counting on though, right?!
- MP replies to LindaWow, so it's
XM Radio! They called me too! - MPCalled and left a message. Claimed to Be EOS CCA "A Collection Agency" about a debt. I'm not calling them back. I have No debts!

- Tony MontereyI got a call from this number today to. Seems that XM radio is hurting for cash and is doing some ethically questionable billing. I got a free subscription with my car, after it expired I noticed my Radio still worked so I called to cancel. They asked if I wanted another free subscription and I said OK. I actually paid for a 3 month stretch and decided I would let it expire.
Now they are calling saying, rather rudely, that I owe them $50 dollars? I am going to pay it, with a money order, to make them go away. But I am never, ever going to use their service ever again.- Caller: XM Radio

- BrandonWell I guess I am the latest victim of this scam. I received a phone call from 877-683-1155 stating that I owed them $34.00 for an expired XM membership. I purchased a car 4 years ago and prepaid for 3 years and when the membership was up I decided not to renew and they shut off my service in the vehicle. Now 2 months after the service was shut off I get this phone call stating that I owe them money for service that I have not been receiving. I agree with everyone else. They are extremely rude and pass the buck like a S.O.B. No one seems to want to help and they get beligerant when I try to work it out. I told the guy that I had just purchased another vehicle that is XM compatable and there is no way in hell that I would ever activate the service in that vehicle or any new vehicle for that matter and he had nothing to say. I will be reporting this to the BBB and if I have to get a lawyer. I am more than happy to get a Class action lawsuit going. GRRRRRRRRR

- clevymdWe sold the car in which we had XM. We called at least three times to tell them to cancel it and each time they said it was canceled. Then we got at least three more paper bills, and had to call again. Today, I got an automated call from a collection agency as people here have noted. I reported them to the BBB.
We don't owe them anything! We will fight because this can hurt credit scores.- Caller: collections

- ColleyvilleTXXM periodically turns on my disconnected car radios (3). Now they're having a collection agency or someone pretending to be a collection agency call me. The people don't ID themselves, but I was able to determine it was XM. My wife and I used to enjoy listeneing to XM, but not now since these tactics have started.

- Carlin replies to LindaSame thing happened to me. I told the collection agency I was NOT going to pay. My credit is perfect and had better stay that way. We should all bring a class action suit against this [***] of a company!
- In the News| 1 replyIf You Subscribed to Sirius, XM, or Sirius XM Satellite Radio
You Could Be Included in a Class Action Lawsuit
On August 25, 2011, the Court presiding over the lawsuit, Blessing v. Sirius XM Radio Inc. , approved a class action settlement. The settlement will become final after any appeals are complete. To find out when the settlement has become final, you can visit this website, www.satelliteradiosuit.com. As part of the settlement, customers who terminated their Sirius XM service at any time between July 29, 2009 and July 14, 2011, and who are no longer active customers, can elect to receive 30 free days of Sirius XM service via Internet or satellite radio without paying any reconnection fee. To determine eligibility for or redeem this benefit after the settlement has become final, call 866-577-7474.
Sirius XM has also agreed as part of the settlement to keep prices at or below current rates through December 31, 2011 for multi-radio subscriptions, Internet streaming, and "premier" and "premier family friendly" packages, and the U.S. Music Royalty Fee. Customers who are scheduled to renew their plans before December 31, 2011 do not need to do anything to claim this benefit. Their plans will automatically renew at current prices. Current customers who are not scheduled to renew their plans until after December 31, 2011 and who want to restart their long term plan before December 31, 2011 at current rates should also call 866-577-7474.
http://satelliteradiosuit.com/ - Tiffany replies to In the NewsI for one refuse to participate in this class action. I've had the exact same issue everyone one else has had on these 8 pages of posts, in that they "automatically renewed" my subscription without my permission. The worst part about it is I owed over $90 because they're claiming some $75 "early termination fee," which was never described to me when I subscribed over the phone. I will never ever purchase anything from sirius xm again, and will not be part of this class action because it involves signing up again. Don't do it unless you want to owe $90. We need a REAL class action with a REAL settlement.

- Ray FitzWanted to know if I was so and so. When I said no, they wanted to know if I knew so and so. I said no and asked them who they were. They said the EOCC. I then asked what that was and they said that was confidential. At that point I told them not to call my number ever again. They got real snooty and said "have a nice day."

- Sheila877-683-1155 - XM Radio. had them in two new autos..so free for several months. Renewed their service for two years..cancelled both when we could not afford anymore. On one auto they offered 3 months for $25. and 3 for free, so I paid with debit card. BIG MISTAKE!! when the six months was up, they auto drafted $383.00 from my checking account. Called and bitched that I never authorized this charge. They said it would take 3 to 5 days to return my money to my checking. After day six I called and was told they could not return my money because last time we talked they deleted my credit card info from their system. They finally sent me a check for $378.00 three weeks later. On the second auto I told them I would just let the subscription run out was not going to renew. I now get bills for $30.00 and collection calls. Will not pay!!! We can once again afford this, really like it when we had it, but will live without until I see a public announcement that they are ending their "just bill 'em and see if they pay" policy.
