In the past 2 hours, I've received 6 calls from this number.  I have only answered it twice (first call and last call), and on both occasions, it was a robot, asking me to hold for the next available representative.  (Don't call me and then ask me to hold on... that's stupid)... I hung up.

On the last call, about 10 minutes ago, I answered and was willing to wait through the robot to tell a human to stop calling my phone, after about 2 minutes with the robot saying, "Please hold, this call is important... blah blah blah" the call just ended.

Thats when I googled the number and saw this thread.  I've NEVER subscribed to XM, so I don't think that's what this call was about.  I do use ATT, but I'm current on my bill, so I have NO IDEA what this call was about.  If I get someone on the phone, I will chew them up!

I would strongly suggest that anyone with XM Radio drop it. They are scammers. By the way, they did not deny that they are doing this. The guy at XM verified it. I originally canceled because of all the commercials. I can get those for free from my car radio.

I too have an excellent credit rating / score, and I'm tired of XM's intimidation tactics trying to make us re-subscribe to their non-service company and product, so I've filed a complaint with my state's atty. general; the u.s.p.s. postal general (because of the bs, letters xm has sent us); and the FCC.

Last detail here, I paid for the two years I had XM with a personal check, and did not opt for their Auto-Renewal Service (credit card only option)... they are owed nothing by me or my family.

Ditto. Ditto. Ditto.  I received 2 phone calls today (one automated, one from David White) at the EOSCCA collection agency regarding my XM service that I never renewed.  I initially got a free 3 month trial when I purchased my new Toyota in 2010.  Then, they kept calling me to renew, which I finally did over the phone in October of 2010.  A one year subscription paid in advance and I specifically told them to not keep my credit card info as I did NOT want to sign up for the auto-renew.

Fast forward to October 2011 when my service was supposed to be up.  I get several notices in the mail saying that my account service would be cut off if I didn't renew.  I was perfectly fine with this as they had DOUBLED the subscription price for the year.  I neglected to read the fine print regarding the automatic renewal terms on the back.  I was a little busy at the time with our new baby.  

Now, I'm getting notices and calls from a debt collector. HOW IS THIS LEGAL TO HAVE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL WITHOUT ME SIGNING ANYTHING OR IT BEING SPELLED OUT WHEN I RENEWED OVER THE PHONE?? IT probably isn't legal, and it sure as heck isn't good business practice by XM.  I'm guessing they won't be in business too much longer if they keep it up.

I do not think they can legally charge you for service past your contract expiration date. The contract ends and so does our agreement to pay for the service. It is their responsibility to end the service because we can disconnect from it other than not renew.

Maybe we can file a class action law suite against them if they ruin our credit score and continue to harrass people.

Same thing happened to me, I called xm radio today and asked for any specials, they did not have any so I told the guy I'll call back later, he did not like that so tonite I got that call ...don't ever give them your credit card for automatic payment because they triple charged me they suck .....

I sent the bill back to XM Radio and said I did not want to renew this account and now I am getting collection calls from 877-683-1155 for XM Radio.  I did not renew this subscription.

They called me and claimed I did not payt they cut off 1 radio but my other is still being paid on regularly.  Makes no sense

I have absolutely immaculate credit.  XM was cancelled over a year ago.  It took numerous calls to people who did not seem to speak or understand english well.  They finally agreed that I did not owe anything.

We keep getting calls on this and told them each time we would not renew.  We always paid 1 payment for the full amount of the contract at the starting date.  THEN we received an bill in the mail from a collection agency saying we owe $65.00 + dollars.  The girl would not answer any questions on the phone to me because it was in my husband's name.  Told her she would not get another cent from me.  If they put this on my credit report, I will sue them.  Nice to have attorney in family.

Answering machine left voice message. Account has been closed for 6 months guess I'll be getting harassed next.

I canceled my xm radio when they charged my account about $100 so I called to ask why. They said it was for the radio I ordered. Not only did I not order a radio but they said I requested it to be sent on a certain date. I happened to be going out of town for 2 weeks and it was going to be delivered then!!! I am still fighting the charges!! Now I keep getting calls from this number!! I hate XM!!!

I received a call today from EOSPCA 877-388-1407 and the auto system prompt me to call for a collections issue. I called and the very RUDE AGGRESSIVE collection's agent told that I have an outstanding balance with Qwest. Qwest has not been in business here in Arizona for over a year. I have been paying my bill every month on time. I tried to ask the agent why my payments have not been applied to my account and since she was unable to help I stated that I will need to contact Qwest for research., She started screaming at me and interruped me saying that I needed to pay her NOW since Qwest no longer had my account. I again tried to ask her where my payments went and what dates of service this was for and again she interruped me stating Listen Lady just pay me NOW!!! I hung up on her and called Qwest. I am current with my account with no record of collections and disregard the call. DON'T PAY THEM ANYTHING!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!!

They can call me til the cows come home thanks to caller ID. I love effing with debt collectors anyway. one of em caught up with me a few years back, so I sent em 50 bucks a month for 3 months, refusing to give them the personal info they requested. So they took me to court. At the time I had just initiated bankruptcy proceedings, so I went to court all humble and stupid like, and told the judge that I didn't dispute the debt, but that I had been making payments. He gave the debt collector's attorney holy hianus and told her that the finance charges they kept tacking on ever month, were punitive. She had no adequate response so the judge continued the case for 3 months - so that the collector and I could come to an agreement. LOL.  I could have ended it all right then and there by telling the judge that I had begun bankruptcy proceedings, but I chose not to do that because I wanted the collector to pay more court fees. Three months later I was back in court - this time in an italian suit and a cocky attitude. The collector had this wet behind the ears lady lawyer in court, and when I smirked and told the judge that I had declared bankruptcy, she like to wet her panties. I stepped outside and fired up a Churchill and got into my Mercedes, feeling pret-ty darn good with myself. I have 7 grown kids, and some of them have debt collecters calling me, but, like I said, I laugh ever time I hear the phone ring.

This message came for my son,  James Barrilleaux.  He is overseas in the military.  I asked him about this and he said he had no idea what it was about.  He has no debt and pays everything on time.  The call was all automated.

My father has been deceased for 5 months. His credit was perfect, all bills were paid. These jokers have been calling my family and have even asked us to send them a death certificate...NOT! Good luck on collecting from someone who is no longer here for a debt they never owed in the first place. SCAM!!!!
