They called at 5:32, 7:01, 7:51, 8:24, and again at 8:50! I thought these companies were not allowed to call this late in the evening.

This is indeed the Regional Acceptance Auto Loan collections department.  We have a loan through the, and were late.  I looked the number up and that's what I got.  It's also listed as their "Technical Support" hotline.  Hmm...

they are some of the rudest people I know...........They sound and are ignorant, and they like to threaten

I am the co-signer on this deal. Regional Acceptance is no doubt the WORST finance company I have EVER dealt with. They call and HARASS me DAILY and I am the co-signer! I asked them WHY they call ME when the payment is only a few days late and I am the co-signer NOT the owner....not 1 week, not 1 month but a FEW DAYS LATE! The last person who called from Regional Acceptance asked me to verify my social and physical address....I said, "OK, go ahead"....he says "No, you have to tell me your social and address"...I said "NO, you are crazy if you think I'm giving anyone my social and address, this could be a scam for all I know". I played along with the guy until he finally gave up and hung up on me. The people who work for regional acceptance are rude and obnoxious. The next time they call I will answer....and they won't like it. RUN, RUN FAR AWAY!

I hear you!  They will call constantly, even if your payment is a few days late, AND they've already been notified via email that the payment will be late--as a courtesy.  Geez!

First I started getting recorded messages about insurance was going to lapse, but I don't have insurance with this company.  Now I'm getting calls asking for a person other than me or my husband, I've told them that person isn't here, they hang up, but they keep calling back. How can we make them stop?  LG

Just got a call from someone named Latoya. We're a prestigious medical company so we're used to "professional" voices on the phone.

Looks like "Regional" needs to train its employees on customer relations.

i have to be honest, i deal with the people in tampa and they are 99% of the time very pleasent, occasionally they just want to get to the point, but never are they rude.

If your late on your car payment, what do you honestly expect, i'm sometimes late, but i dont expect them to be all buddy buddy with me whenever they call.

Yes, they are very rude and say horrible things to people.  Very difficult to work with and like threatening and harassing people! Something needs to be done with these people

I honestly expect customer service that is courteous and professional, luke.  Just because a customer is late with any payment, that doesn't give these people, or anyone, the excuse to be rude.

Kept asking if I was sure I didn't own this car. Yeah, I'm sure! I think I know what kind of car I own and where I got the loan from. Tried to get me to give up personal information on the phone. I'm not stupid! He couldn't even give me the right address.

They called me, I was 1 day late, made the payment and they still harassed me, and called my cell phone, work phone, and home phone.
I usually pay extra each month, and I actually only owed 72 dollars, my payments are usually 560.00

They gave personal information about my father in laws account to us without bothering to check who we were. They harassed my 10 year old daughter because her phone number was the number previously on the account. SIXTA is the name of the woman who was rude to my wife and her useless supervisor is named Janel. Janel's number is 866-259-5318 extension 14668, feel free to call her repeatedly. Say anything you like to her. We repoted the to the Better Business Bureau

Get one or more calls a day.  Have nothing to do with this company.  Don't have a loan or anything else with REGIONAL ACCEPTANCE.  Never have.  I own my own car.  Contacted the FCC & the Florida Department Of Financial Services after going through the States Attorney Generals Office.  Have the Consumer Collection Practices Act Complaint Form filled out in front of me to be mailed tomorrow.  Also contacted several people getting these calls that have no dealings with this company to begin a Class Action Law Suit.  Will keep ya'll informed.

I have a loan with Regional, and they call me ten to fifteen times a day starting at 7 am and not stoping until well until the evening! I have had to go online to their website and remove all but my cell phone number as contacts as they were harrasing my father WHILE HE WAS IN THE HOPSITAL. They are rude and obnoxious and have absolutly no respect for people. This is the worst company to ever get a loan from and if I had had any other choice I would never have chosen them! I will be refiniancine with a different company ASAP!
