- MikeHuntleton replies to ConnieSpamming the link as a troll does not re-enforce the validity of this number as "liget", since scammers often spoof "l-e-g-i-t " numbers.Keep in mind, just because a number is legit, doesn't mean the caller is!
Scammers spoof legitimate numbers to trick people into a false sense of security to answer their calls and attempt to get money or personal information from you.
This is why no one will encourage others to report of legitimate numbers, as they only confuse people into believing it is a legit call when a scammer has called them and they come here to find out about the call.
If it is a legitimate call, then anyone receiving a call would know WHY they got a call from this number, right?
So what would be a reason to come and post about it to a site designed to share information about UNKNOWN callers, such as Telemarketers, Scammers and Debt Collectors?
If your call was legit, telling about it won't be any comfort to those who may get a spoofed call from some scammer! - DimI have had three different phone numbers since I bought my Dell and have NEVER updated my contact phone number with them ... sooo ... how did Dell find my present phone number?

- Bob LoblawJust got a call. They had my computer number and said they needed to connect to my computer. I told them to blow me.
I did reach out to Dell Concierge once last year so its pretty obvious these scammers got my info from Dell somehow. - WaryI have had Dell concierge service in the past and this is the most recent scam call from someone pretending to work for Dell. Like many calls, he had an Indian accent. He claimed he was giving me a refund because I had cancelled my service. He knew my name and my old address. I knew it was a scam because the service had expired.
Notice that so many, if not all of us, had Dell service at some time. Their service center in India is obviously compromised. The conclusion is:
DON'T BUY A COMPUTER OR SERVICE FROM DELL!!!- Caller: "Dell" Service

- Ed EbrThe caller ID themselves as Dell Tech Support and there is a issue with my computer. They wanted me to allow them access to my computer. Once on they would need a credit card and the three number code on the back of the card. I said no and hung up the phone up!

- PjGot a call this morning from "Dell concierge device". They called at 6:00-a.m., told them I was asleep, call back. 2 hours later they called back. Said my computer was sending out error messages and they could help me fix it. Funny thing, I was in phone with Dell the day before because my computer was not booting up. So for a second I thought might be legit. I told them Dell said it was a hardware problem, not a software problem, the guy said he'd send someone over tomorrow to fix it. I said give me your phone number, I'm on my way to work, I'll call you back. Then he gives me a weird string of numbers 877-777-7907,4567 then he hung up. Very annoying. Needless to say in reporting the incident to FTC and Dell
