Caller id was TOLL FREE CALL.  Called while we were out.  First call from this number.  I assume it was blocked as there was no message.

Caller id was TOLL FREE CALL.  Call was already blocked.  WIthin seconds got a spoofed call from 608-371-6666.  Call got through and this guy sounds like he is either distracted or drunk.  I asked: Who the heck are you?
He said:  If you are gonna be like that.. I said: Well, YOU called ME  and then I hung up.  These numbers have to be related.

Called my company asking for the person in charge of "credit card processing". Said it was DM brokerage..... Scam.

Picked up, ask for the owner of the business, I said I am, then he told me he wants to use my business to transfer some money oversea, and he will pay 15% of whatever he send out to my business account.  I just told him to f off.

Called again this morning.  Blocked.

This is still happening! I just received a call. Very rude, basically the same conversation you had. Told me I was an uninterested person. Some people! :)

Guy literally starts talking LOUDLY as i answer "thank you for calling xyz..." he is already practically shouting "i need to talk to "joe"... i pause and ask who is calling and he replies with his name... i made the guy give me info and basically had to drag every damn piece out of him- "john" someone from discount merchant brokers- wouldnt tell me reason for call and claims "well thats a delicate topic and i will tell joe when he gets on the phone" so i replied "well "joe" is my boss, and my boss wants to know what people want before i transfer any call- so what do you want?" the guy laughs and says its regarding "rates for credit cards...b;la bla bla" i put him on hold and came here- he hung up before the 2 minute mark (in which he would have gone direct to voicemail)

Went to answering machine and a hangup.

Get a call from these guys every other week.  Today, I got a call from Kevin:
Me: ABC Company.  How can I help you?
Kevin: Is *owner's name* available?
Me: We don't have anyone by that name here, sorry.
Kevin: Oh!  Well, I was told by another employee (I'm the only employee, by the way.) that this was the owner's name. In any case, is there someone else I can speak with that handles the Merchant Services account?
Me: They're not here right now, but I can take a message for you.
Kevin: Unfortunately, I must speak only with the owner about this.  I'll call back later.

The callers are never rude, but I haven't tried pushing buttons, yet.  So, same time next week!

Called the same minute as another blocked call.  Caller id was TOLL FREE CALL.

Guy calls and asks for Boss by name as if they are Friends..i ask who is calling and he states Jasons BlaBlaBla from DM Brokers (or Brokerage) I wasn't really paying attention too close... I ask what the callis in regards to and he states "Merchant account- and we spoke to him a few weeks ago" (no- you didnt- because i am the receptionist and i NEVER transfer you to him) So i put ScamBoy on Hold, came to 1800Notes and then plopped Caller right into voicemail.

Rang 4 times went to answering machine. No body there no message

They called asking for our owner, I told them she wasn't available and that I could take their number and company name and have her call back. She says that won't be necessary, that maybe someone else could talk to her about our merchant account. When I said we do not have our merchant account with them. She said she is a merchant broker. I told them we were not interested, and she said "WHATEVER!" I said I will be calling the company you work for. Totally unprofessional.

Someone from this number calls every few weeks.  Made the mistake of answering one time, and had them asking for the owner.  I wouldn't even give them the actual company owner's name, I just let them fish until I finally hung up.  Have never answered since then, and they never leave a message.

This number called me asking for the owner and then the book keeper. I told him that both were unavailable and said I could take a message. He replied that "as a human being" he deserves that I answer the phone stating that I am the company's answering service (which I am not) because he goes through so much beating around the bush. He hung up after I let him know I could try to help him.
