And within minutes another dead air call from Camarillo CA 805-738-7124

Received a call today. He asked if this was gf. I said speaking and he hung up.

This number calls me everyday for the last 10 yrs. they get my answering machine and just hand up. To call me back the next day. I have picked up the phone but no one on the other side.....

Caller ID said "800 Service". Number showed up as 877-822-2928.

Me: "Pharmacy, Shalom speaking."
Them: "Hello?"
Me: "Yes, hello?"
Them: "Can I speak to the office manager?"
Me: "No."
Them: (silence until I finally hung up)

Guy calls and after i say hello and thank you for calling- there is a long silence, i say "hello, hello" again and the guy says hello and asks me how i am...(i hate this by the way- it seems like a tactic) he starts saying he is calling form his company, and wants to speak to the person in charge of Credit cards.. bla- i tell him i can take a message and he asks for my fax number- when i refused to give it to him- he got pissy- i told him i didn't know who he was and had never heard of his company so i am not giving my fax number out so i can receive a lot of junk. he said "fine" and refused to leave a message.i told him to remove us from their List

This is a computer telemarketing for business owners, who accept credit cards! You will talk to a smart computer and then transferred to a real person... I find if I just say "YES" to anything and everything they ask, they hang up very irritated and won't call back! LOL example "how are you doing today" response "yes"! "can I ask you what your current rate is on processing credit cards" "Yes" and then after a few seconds "can you tell me what it is" response "Yes".... etc.

All us Merchants (not including you) know that it's all about the contract! Once you have it your we are stuck! Terms and percentages that come out of each sale begin to "Morph" into an expensive decision! Now let's get out of this contract... Terms come in... you tell us "read the fine print" and we discover terms can change and we can not get out of this nightmare of You taking us to the cleaners... Caller asks for Owner-without identifying herself or company until I ask. Once i ask she gives me what I assume is a fake name and says "Discount Merchant Services"- so I ask what the call is about and get the generic "merchant services and credit card processing"- so i out her on Hold for about 90 seconds, then screwed around with phone trying to get her back on the line (didn't try really hard) and then plopped her into a voicemail of the Boss...They don't leave message and will call again soon, at which point i will repeat the "hold-then direct to voicemail routine)

Caller asked for the owner, but wouldn't identify himself or who he worked for - the owner didn't get the call.

Jerry with Discount Merchant Brokers asked for the former owner.  Put him on hold to rot.

Jerry with Discount Merchant Brokers asked for our former owner.  When I asked what the call was concerning, he raised his voice telling me he was trying to talk to the owner.  He called earlier today from 877-822-2928.

They call every day.  I never answer and they never leave a message.  Blows me away.

Some guy claiming to be Spencer Ross with Discount Merchant Brokers wanted to speak with the former owner about credit card processing.

Ricky called for the former owner to speak to him about credit card processing.

Guy calls asked for "Michael" I said speaking ...silence I said "Can I help you?" caller responded dum dum dum dum then hung up.  10 min later same caller asked for "Michael" again I said speaking is there something you want?  response "I want you to stop being a dip [***]" hangs up

Elijah called about a credit card processing promotion.  I left him on hold for over 5 minutes before he hung up.  It's called "ignore" for a reason.

Called asking for the owner in regards to credit card processing, This company calls every day and every day I ask them to stop. Today, I told them that the person they were asking for wasn't in charge and it is now "Mr. Jed Clampet". I told him all about Jed being a poor mountaineer that barely kept his family fed.....Yea, I don't think that they will be calling back.

These calls are unwelcome, unwanted and unacceptable.

Add them to a do not answer list, they call my work at least a couple of times a week..hang up when I answer.
