They called asking to speak with our GM . When I asked what the call was pertaining to, she said it was for Credit card processing. I informed her that we do not service credit cards here in our office. She was polite and professional.

Scammed trying to get business info.

These people call CONSTANTLY asking for the Owner.  They are a Merchant BROKER, meaning they don't handle actual credit card processing and the people who speak to you on the phone are SLOW AS A SLOTH when speaking to you.  I hung up after they couldn't tell me what a broker does.

Just received a call from this number. He ask for me by name and when I answered that me, he hung up. Getting so tired of this type of phone calls.

Devin called for the former owner to speak to him about credit card processing.

Christopher asked for the former owner.  Claimed to be with D M Brokers.

These Asshats don't GET it- we DON'T want tot talk to you- we dont want whatever you are "selling" or professing to do! That is why you get left on Hold, or dropped into voicemail immediately

A lady called our business my employee first answered and I picked up she was extremely RUDE when I answered all she had to say was are you kidding you

I don't normally answer unknown calls but I did today.  I had to ask him twice what he said.  Asked me if this was the poolroom LOL  I said no, it's a private number.  He apologized and hung up.  Now I know why,  he thought it was a business.  I didn't know we had a poolroom in this town LOL  so tired of these calls.

Telemarketing call's are getting rediculous. Now i let them know that the next i will be blowing a whistle into the phone.  It's been a little quiet since i started this 3 days ago. Its just not everyone got the message yet.

The guy who called me was an A$$- he asked for my boss by first name, and since we have 2 people with the same name i asked for a last name- which he gave but did not pronounce it correctly. Then instead of telling me who was calling and what company he was from and what the call was regarding; he made me ask for everything

Me- "may i ask who is calling?"
Caller: ""Mr. Walker..."
Me; "And where are you calling from?"
Caller: (in  a tone that indicated he was annoyed) "DM Brokers"
Me- "ok......and what is the call regarding?"
Caller (again annoyed) "Merchant Services"
Me: "oh. ok. let me see if someone is available"

and then i accidentally hung up on him trying to put him into voicemail- i never transfer or even ask to transfer these Calls. "Mr. Walker" didn't call back

didn't answer so I have little info. I've received this call number other times as well.

Called at 2:25p today and asked if the owner was available.  Asked who was calling, and he replied "Oh, this is Jason from Discount Merchant Brokers".  When I repeated the information, he confirmed the information.  Asked if I could take a message.  He got a little confused and asked "Oh!  The owner's not there?" Told him that he wasn't, but I could take a message and have him call back.  He got a little defensive and said, "Oh, no. Um, I think I'll just all back at a different time." *click*

Has to be a known telemarketer, they were blocked by my software. Added to blacklist.

called 8-16-17 9:09 am, didn't say anything and hung up.

Went to answering machine and then a hang-up. Nobody there...

"discount Merchant Brokers" claims they are "not a processor" bla bla bla "wants to save us money" bla bla bla.. put him on hols until he hung up- sick and effing tired of these calls wasting my damn time

Caller ID 877-822-2928.  Keeps calling but never speaking.  When I start saying their caller ID number they hang up.  So you if you to get them off the line quick, say "Your caller ID is 877-822-2928."

Called and asked if we were "name of company". Then asked for who would handle credit card processing. The delay before the caller spoke was the giveaway that this was a telemarketer.

Rang 4 times and went to answering machine. Nobody there.
