- Heartbroken| 1 replyI too was a part of this terrible scam. Have a child with cancer and have fell behind in my bills due to an extraordinary amount of medical bills. I felt this money would really help with all the costs we have. Everything seemed to be legit and i even asked for them to send me a guarantee that my money would be there the next day if i sent it Western Union.
Sent my money Western Union yesterday and was told my money would be there today into my bank account. Today received a phone call from Michael Flemming stating i needed to send an additional $850.00 for insurance on the loan. I stated to him this sounds ridiculous and to cancel the loan..he informed me that i would get my refund the beginning of November.
The representative i had been dealing with was Jessie Wilson. He was very nice to speak with...in the beginning. I called Mr. Flemming back and told him i really needed my money back sooner due to the fact that i have a very ill son and i used my husband's paycheck to receive these funds into our account. Mr. Flemming was very rude and stated he himself had two handicapped children (and excuse my french) who really gives a [***] about your family...do you give a [***] about mine...i have to say i was so uphauled..i did not know what to say..i knew at this moment that these were definately scam artists. He also stated that i was trying to give him a guilt trip.
I phoned Mr. Wilson back along with my husband who did the same and Mr. Wilson informed both of us that he was sorry for this and did not understand why we needed additional funds for the loan because it was due to be in our account today...so he said for my husband to call him back tonight at 6:00 p.m. and he would give us the wiring information so that we could get our money back tomorrow. He also stated that the money was coming out of the business' pocket and he was very sorry and he would talk to me later. Well 6:00 p.m. came and my husband and I called and the phone number had been disconnected. I was very hurt and upset...more for the fact that i just took money from my children especially my sick child that needs extra care. This was all the money i had this week so that i could get this loan...but i am a strong person and i will be able to manage one more week until payday.
I truley feel sorry for these dishonest men...due to the fact that God knows what they have done and i leave their punishment in his hands. I feel for all of you who have lost hard earned money in this and pray your situations will get better.- Caller: East Gate Lending Services
- Gina replies to HeartbrokenOh, my god. I got a call from Ben Davis again stating the my offer is expiring to act now. I have been ignoring his calls since I did my research on them. I guess he wanted to get one last scam in. I cannot believe they have disconnected their phone and moved on. They started Easgate Lending around September 18, and now, October 9, they are done. In less than a month look at how many of us they scammed. Just think of all the people that haven't been on this site or are still hoping to get their refund back and haven't realized what happened.
Thank you, BK. It's nice to know that you are doing some research on these scams and now you know what type of people we are talking about. I mean they have no remorse. And they try to empathize with us ie., heartbroken's story above. They see her desperation about helping her son with cancer and they try to up you by stating they have handicapped children. I mean they can really be intimidating on the phone. They mess with your emotions. When I mentioned my daughter to my representative, he immediately wanted me to relate him and said his child comes first in life and this loan would help me give my daughter what she needs. Purely evil. Thank's again. - Rene replies to MarybDid you get the money? Was the transaction legit?

- Rene replies to msbHello msb,
I got a call from a James Riley stating I was approved for a loan and need to pay 4 months upfront. He went on to explain that the money will go towards the principal of the laon and I will be paid up til March 2010. I called back to customer service and they gave some information and they claim to be based in Michigan. Customer Service said they broker loans with investors. I have not been able to find anything about Vanguard Mutual Group either. The number 877-834-7019, his ext. 219. - maryb| 1 replyBK, It is nice to have you working on this. Their web site is still up "www.eastgate.com". If anyone were to set up a sting operation, that is are only link to them now to them you can send messages to them that is it and actually applying but you have to have a socail security number for. I have had alot of time to think about this, I'd love to bring them down. You could catch them where the money is soposed to be recieved. You could send only $1 and they would not know untill it was too late for them the reciver would be caught. Concentrating on the people on the phone on this end may be a dead end. Or of course there is always tracing a call from them. I don't know what kind of investagation that is being done but these are some ideas that I have come up with to con a con. It could be done. There are thousands and thousands of $ that we victoms have given out. They are so persuasive and I for one was nieve and it is hard to explain the reason why I was so taken in by these crooks.

- Gina replies to wisdomofgod| 1 replyOkay, this is going to sound weird, but I find myself monitoring this site a lot. Maybe because I feel I can relate to all of you and we have been completely violated. I just don't understand how in the most modernized developed country we cannot find a way to stop this criminal activity. It makes me sick. When you go into a store you see their validation on the wall, a certificate verifying them. If they sell you something faulty you can at least go back and complain. How can someone put up a website without being registered or checked out by some sort of entity, function as a legitimate company and buy and sell goods or services without being held liable? I think there should be some sort of Government agency in charge of looking up these sites and following through. How did this get so out of control? Even MK who went on this site and said it is out of his control (mind you, he is in law enforcement) verifies how unsafe we are as citizens. Some of us do not have criminal minds and believe everything we see or hear. These guys have now become Vanguard? I looked up that site with all the related companies and they have pretty decent websites but all with the tacky music. They only last about a month as their alias company and then move on. I would like to fall back into their scam and do what Maryb said and only send $1 and find out who the person is picking up the money. That sounds great. We just need one good investigator to want to take this task on and we could maybe get lucky and catch someone. We all need to unite in this. Or else, just make this site something positive. I have learned that I am not the only person out there trying to survive without having to recourse on parents or family. Just trying to get a loan under our name and be responsible. I myself am a single mom, going to school full-time and did not want to bother anyone else with my problems. If I have bad credit it is due to my ex-husband but who cares, life goes on, I have to survive. But my naiveness got me here. So, if anyone knows of a way to get a loan with bad credit or with a low income, please advise. Good luck to all, and please comment on your situations if you think they can help someone else. After all, I think all of us here are good hearted and we are here to help each other.
- maryb replies to GinaI am glad to see that their are many people out there that are using this site and and are realizing that this is a scam. It means that everyone reporting that they have been scammed that others have not sent their $'s to these people. I know there is one thing we have accomplished here at least we kept their potential $'s out of crooks pocket. I am so happy that those families did not loose out. I encourage anyone who sees this site to tell their story it will help others either by stopping the hard working good people from sending their dollars and comfort the victoms from they tragity of loosing their money. Maybe just maybe reach the right person to get these sites off the internet all together. Maybe also they could track the number to crooks "hide out" I want be a member on a team that con's a con. Every one matters here every family every child that is effected by these dangrous crimminals taking the bill and food money from us.
- maryb replies to Sam| 1 replyPlease read and you will hear stories that will help you find out about eastgate lending services and how they are a scamming company the most recient posts see page 8. Do not get scammed. Tell your story.
- Jody| 1 replyI am glad I wasn't the only idiot that fell for this scam. After reading everything I will assume I will not be getting a refund on 10/16/09. I must have been one of the first as I had googled the number but nothing came up until after I had sent the money. The story I read about Heather and Michael Fleming, you would have thought I wrote it. I lost $3,000.00 and I am really pissed about that, but more pissed that I was so stupid, I don't trust anyone and I guess when you are desperate you do crazy things. I am sorry for all of us that got scammed. If there are any names and addresses or emails to file complaints can anyone let me know.

- ??If you call 1-877-826-8581 now you get a recording that says that phone number doesn't work and for more information to call 1-877-4-LEVEL3. When you call that number you get customer service. Think it's eastgate?
- maryb replies to JodyI feel bad for you, I know that they sound so genuine so I did not do any research until it was to late for my $1100, and they pray upon that. I cannot understand how they keep getting away with this. I heard about scams but was completly taken by these people and we unfortunatly, are not alone. I am sorry for your financial loss. I have been a part of saving other person today on another number here on this site she was going for a $5000 loan 877-834-7020 aka Middlegate Financial. They are so slick. How long can they continue to take our hundreds of thousands of dollars one individual or family at a time.
- meanpeoplesuck| 1 replySame old story. Ben Davis calls, I send $11,000.00 over the next 3 weeks to Madrid, Spain. Today when they were out of lies, the number is disconnected! To any of you who want to believe...please don't do it. This loan was to buy my house. I now have to back out of that, lose the earnest money paid, watch my house go to someone else, and pay rent until I undo this financial train wreck. These people are monsters. I followed this all the way to the end. They just disappear. If you have given them anything I'm sorry, but do not give them more it will not happen no matter how much you send. If you are still waiting try to call. You will be brokenhearted. Michael Flemming told me that I could not be asked for any more money and the delays were over. All thats over is my dream of owning my home. 8778268581 has been disconnected or is no longer in service.

- Gina replies to meanpeoplesuckOh, now they have fancy investors in Madrid. This is a worldwide scam. I thought they were staying close (as in Canada). Maybe this is related to the Nigerian scam. Those people are dangerous. And they are coming into our homes through faulty pop-up websites. Nobody is safe. Ever since I applied for that loan online I have been receiving so many junk e-mails with how to make easy money from home. Beware, I did research on that also, and those are all scams too. They must be ran by the same sleeze bags. Plus, when I went to make a complaint on the Social Security website so they could be aware that my number might be involved in identity theft, I found out it was a fake site. These crooks also pose as federal agencies. You assume your making a complaint against their company, but it's just another scam. If they didn't get your social security during the loan process, they will now. So, be careful. It's best to call them directly.
- marybYou may send your complaints to sam@yomoasaproductons.com I found this on a video one youtube.com about litton. Also www.consumeraffairs.com. Watch youtube.com for a news report from the BBB on litton another one of these companies and several other sorces on youtube.com. Tell your story, everyone matters every dollar you lost matters wether you lost hundreds or if you lost thousands. Keep telling any athority that will listen until these companies get caught. I ask this question again where is this money going? What is it funding? That is what scares me the most.
