Just got a call from this number and did NOT answer.  They did not leave a message - - - I Blocked it now.  Thanks everyone for the advice!

I was scammed by Credit Card Services in the year 2015.  Please do not answer any unknown calls - If it is important & legit, they will leave a message.  Credit Card Services called me in 2015 and told me they were from BofA and they could help lower my interest rate.  They had all my personal information.  They bully you and pressure you.  After I got off the phone, I researched the phone number on line and found out it was a scam.  I even called BofA and told them what happened and they said they are not affiliated with Credit Card Services and they were not the ones who called me.  I reported them to the Credit Bureau and the FTC.  They still call me and harass me.  I do not answer any unknown calls now and I am very cautious about who I call back.  I always research the phone number online and that is how I find out it is Credit Card Services still harassing me.

We had a call from them (again) this morning, and this time picked up. (We get over ten calls a day from this number and screen them. But hearing the phone ring every half hour is a pain.) They claimed to be from "Elan." We had charges to one of our bank accounts from "Credit Card Services" -an account with which we did not associate any credit cards. I owe nothing on any of my accounts. When asked about it, the woman on the other end got nasty and hung up. These scammers need to be more professional if they expect to fool people who have actually dealt with credit card companies over the phone.

the number is legit, i is US Bank card service, they just called my number looking for someone else.

I just received the same call from the same number i told them i will report them then i called US bank they told me no one called me from there ,no it's not the US Bank they are scammers

Said her name was Leslie, asked for my father. I asked her what company she was from and she refused to answer. Blocked.

I am on the National Do Not Call list and have been since its inception.  I have asked your people not to call yet they keep doing so and tieing up my answering machine as well as my cell. You have been reported.

Calls from: (877) 838-4347. These are a daily occurrence. They have been able to by-pass the "Do not disturb" settings on my iPhone (iOS up-to-date). I finally called the number back. The auto answer says it is for "Member Card Services" and said that a CC ending with 4 unknown digits was associated with this phone number." When I finally got a person by pressing "0" instead of their  options, while very professional, the representative would not  identify which Card  company until I verified my information - which I did not. When she would not budge on divulging their information, I informed her that I would be reporting this number and said good bye.  This number has now been saved as "Spam" and blocked. I will update with any new developments.

Wise advice. Don't usually answer any unknown numbers, but because I was expecting return calls, thought maybe this was legit. Calls were during business hours only (I thought) until I made a contact with that number.  Blocked! And reported.

That is pretty smug know-it-all talk from a person who can not even sign his
own name.    And, you are WRONG about this only being a collection unit!  I also get calls from this number, and we have NO depts now, or ever to collect.  It is likely this is a credit card CUSTOMER solicitation number which we get plenty of those.  We used to be U.S. Bank members, and likely this is why they harass FOLKS?

I get 7-10 calls a day from these idiots... It starts about 7 am and goes till about 10 pm. I've never answered it because I don't know the number. Its getting very annoying personally to have it ring all the time- even when I'm at work. Going to put them on a block list, I'm done playing with the children....

I just received a message from them. They said they were with U.S. Bank and I needed to call them immediately. I called the number on the back of my card, not the number left on the message. U.S. Bank verified that this is a phishing scam! Please everyone be careful and not give them any information.

People, people, people...its easy to get them to leave you alone IF you have a cell phone that you can load apps on.
If you can, load an app that calls numbers for you. I use schedcall. After they call me I put the number in the APP, set it to punch in the tones for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 0, set the duration of MY call to 15 to 25 seconds, set the number of call to 50, set the time between calls to 1 minute, plug my phone into a charger and go back to what I was doing.
For the next 50 minutes (or more, determined by how harassing they have been to me) I (in capital letters) I tie up one of THEIR lines with a call that APPEARS to be a robocall ON THEM!!! Do that once and they think your numbers is a fax or call machine or whatever they like to ignore and they take me OFF the call list as a BAD number!!! LOL
Its even BETTER when I get a LIVE PERSON!!! I can hear them starting to talk and then the numbers I programmed in start beeping and they swear about a GD fax machine of something like it and hang up...After about 20 times they stop answering AND take my name off the list as...????....anyone? That's RIGHT! A BAD number!
it might not work on every number BUT it has SURE put a dent in spam calls to my phone AND you get a little payback on a personal level to those scummy, low life, stinky fingered crooks!!!

They keep calling my parents house up to 5 times a day and late at night. My mom has told them to stop calling and they won't. I called them and she told me they couldn't take out number off the list without me giving them any type of information. So I asked for a customer care number and she said they didn't have one.

block the number total scam , but you idiots are probably late on something so thats  why you are scared.. pay your bills deadbeats

In my case I was late on a payment (totally my bad, not blaming anyone else) so they are just trying to get what is appropriately owed.  A legitimate call.
