I receive these unwanted call several times a day.  877-4379481.  Totally annoyed with time warner for gfiving my # to someone and they are actually harrasing my family.

Seriously?  A police order?  All you have to do is call them back and ask to be placed on their do not call list.  All they were trying to get me to do was add digital home phone for $20/month, which I don't need because I use my cell phone as my primary phone number.  The police aren't going to do anything unless you've already placed your number on a DNC list.

Receive several calls a day from Time Warner. I called them back and asked to be placed on the DNC list and the guy told me he's not able to do that and hung up on me.  I'M FED UP with TWC

They say they are TIME WARNER CABLE ONLINE. I answered the phone last night after multiple calls to my cell phone. I spoke with a lady who tried to tell me that she had special promotion prices (which might make sense because I just upgraded my service with TWC) The lady, repeatedly asked me for my address, I asked her who she was with, she asked me for my address, I told her I wasn't interested, she asked me for my address, no matter what question I asked her, she responded with she could help me once she had my address... I became irritated with the lady and told her I was not interested in what she was selling and promptly hung up the phone. That was last night. I have received FIVE calls to my cell phone today while sitting at my desk at work.... FIVE! After becoming extremely fed up with them I decided I would call them back and give them a piece of my mind.... The phone answers to an automated system... they do not tell you who they are and the only two options on the system are "Sales" and "Put my number on the do not call list". During the sign off after I entered my number on the DNC list, the recording said something about being an Online
Company...... Sounds like to me that TWC is selling our number to third parties who might be able to "offer cheaper prices". I am fed up and if I receive another call from this number I will be calling the "REAL TIME WARNER" and letting them know about the third party calls.

Time Warner Cable.  They have called me persistently for the past 24 months trying to offer services.  I finally called back and told them to please stop calling me and the woman on the other line said, "Ok sir, let me put you on hold for a minute" and hung up on me.

For Verizon customers, I suggest using their feature that allows you to block numbers from calling you.  This works for about 3 months at a time until they start calling you from another number.  I've had to add about 4 different numbers to my block list.

These idiots have called me 4 times today.  BEYOND ANNOYING.

I just dropped cable, and picked up Direct TV. I just need to have some one explain how to get my DVD player to work with their box. TWC has been calling me from this same number. They also just sent me a bill for negative $7 + dollars, and it also shows a  triple digit credit they have to send back to me.

Your SSN also reports to your credit as does your cable bill, this is why they need your ssn, You only have to give the last four of your ssn for your account verification (it can affect your credit is why , check out federal privacy policy) You have an option to set up a four digit pin if you do not want to give the last four ( NOT THE WHOLE THING) to the rep, This is what i did. I also have to give my pin when i call my cell phone .. same thing.

Just so everyone understands, TWC is like any other business trying to grow, they need to get more customers signed up with their services. If you ask to be put on the National DNC, it doesn't preclude them from calling you, you need to specifically request to be on the DNC from TWC. This wont stop them from calling if you havent paid your bill but it will stop them from calling for promotional activity, and it does take 3-4 weeks for this to take affect. I can speak from experience, if you dont answer the phone, you will continue to get called until a maximum number of attempts, which can be anywhere from 4 to 15. If you answer a call and say no, you shouldnt get anymore calls(at least not for 3-4 months).

Caller didn't leave message but another web site said this phone number is a spoofed number which means it tricks your phone with a fake phone number so you can not track who the real caller is.

If it really is Time Warner, if you're a customer, they will call you no matter what because you are their customer.  They will not put you on any do not call list.  

For 1 & 1/2 yrs after you'd had no business with them is for how long they're allowed legally to still call you.

They call every day , sometimes 2-3 times per day. I am on the do not call list, but it does not help.

im getting calls from time warner cable ive never been a customer. i just got this phone #.  Its an automated call every 10 min. I NEED IT TO STOP!!! I tried to call, unsucessfull, no awnser...

I too have been receiving calls from this number all day long from wee hours in the morning till late at night it is driving me crazy. I wish it would stop!!!
