I am unable to speak............and am getting 6-8 calls a day from your number.  Please stop calling me.

Alot of good it does to report it here....no one knows my phone number to stop calling to!! SHEESH

The call was from Time Warner Cable but it was a legitimate call.  I got one call at 10:06 am with silence on the other end (very much like an auto-dialer used by a telemarketer but the other person answered before I did so they never got back to me).  I got the second call at 2:12 pm.  My area had a cable outage last Friday around 11:00 am that was addressed about 1:00 pm (when they called to notify me the problem was addressed).  The call today was to confirm that everything was resolved (there was still an open ticket).

As much as I dislike Time Warner for their unethical advertising, I have to say that I appreciated the call-back.  What I don't appreciate is them using an obvious telemarketer (based on other messages here about this number), there was no name with the call, and the fact the caller didn't pick up the call on the first attempt.  Taking this one step further, service for Time Warner is obviously at a national level and not at a community or regional level.  If I was still having issues, I would likely still be having issues however at least my ticket wouldn't be competing with a bunch of other tickets that are really resolved.  I just hope I don't start getting marketing calls now that they have my number!

Time warner cable. I called back and when someone answered after being on hold for a minute then I hung up.

I initially called TWC to make a change to my service.  30 seconds after hanging up with them this number started calling me and has been doing so twice or three times a day for the past 10 days.  I've tried answering it a couple of times and no one is there.  I called TWC to change my number associated to my account AND I added my number to their Do Not Call list.  Sure enough, the next day they are still calling me.  Does anyone know when they will stop calling?

yes it is time warner cable. but i called back bitching and he told me it would take up to 30 days before they would stop calling. i told him that if i get one more phone call i am going to drop them call the police and get a order agianst you guys. he had the nerve to tell me this will be the last time we talk to you and hung up. i dropped my time warner cable and loving direct t.v lol

this was my cable company... courtesy call they said when I called back to sell or check on services. asked to be placed on the do not call list

This number has been calling my phone 3-4 times a day, starting at 8 AM until up to 9 PM for the past few weeks. I called them back tonight and asked them to take my number off their call list. The gentleman on the other end said that I should stop receiving calls in about 2-3 days, so we'll see... They were trying to sell me landline phone service, which I do not need.

I was not answering them...i do not answer calls i do not know the identity of..thanks to all of you who have posted here...i now know and will answer the phone as AT+T.. might as well have some reverse fun with these idiots.  Btw this the first crap call ever on my cell

They keep calling me and there's no one there.

Sorry,but if you are a customer,they are allowed to call you according to government regulations

I have been receiving calls from this number numerous times a day for the past two weeks.  Today, I received four calls in a two-hour time period and when I finally answered the call no one was there.  I tried calling the number and all I got was an automated recording saying it was Time Warner Promotions.  I called the main Time Warner customer service line, and the rep didn't seem to know how to take me off the Promotional Do-Not-Call list.  She had someone help her and said it should be fixed, but I guess only time will tell.  Even though I told her the only reason I called was because of the calls, she tried to sell me phone service.  Ugh.

I have been called by this number countless times....i became fed up with it so i added myself to the government do not call list. I know this is time warner cables special promotions but whenever i answer there is no one on the line.  Today I sent an email to TWC customer service to have me removed from their calling lists.  the frequency that this number calls is harrassment.  If they call again I will be more than happy to file a complaint with the FTC.

I Just had a very extensive conversation with a rep from twc to escalate and resolve the issue, at least in my case. Apparently my number was removed from the system but is still being called.  i should hear back in 24-48 hours what is going on. i also mentioned that it is too frequent and a widespread issue. my advice to you if you are reading this post: go to online chat on the twc website and resolve the issues, you even get an email with a copy of the conversation.

actually once you have told them to stop calling they have to stop calling. otherwise you can report them to the ftc.

actually according to the ftc. once you have told a company to stop calling even if you have a business relationship they still have to stop calling.

Thanks for the posts to let us know it's time warner cable. I signed up last week was supposed to be getting a super good promotion through them and the guy told me the wrong time they were coming to my house missed the install guy but it was a good thing since they were gonna charge me like $150. Called them back when I got home and saw I missed him. They were supposed to come back out yesterday and after a few hours of nobody showing up I called again and got told they won't be here til tuesday. And now I am getting these calls from them and I got exactly what I will ever want from them

I got called twice today from them alone. I called right back and the gal had no clue why they keep calling me.
