They called me three times today. I answered the second call but no one said anything. The third time they called I answered and she said "We saw you recently cancelled with us. Was this because you were dissatisfied with it?" I am getting ready to move so I have canceled a lot of things. I asked her what she was talking about since she didn't say anything about what I had canceled and she said she was with Time Warner. I told her I was moving and she asked if I wanted to set up cable at the place I was moving to. I said no and she hung up. It sounded like she was calling from a cell phone. When I picked up I heard the lady along with a bunch of other people talking and laughing, and it took her a while to acknowledge I had answered the phone. Not professional at all... I highly doubt it's Time Warner. Weird...

I had received many calls from this number a few months ago and had it blocked on my phone, so whenever they called it just said "Rejected number."
Then the calls stopped for a few months.
Started back up again just a few days ago and it's back to 3 times per day! Even though they all come up "Rejected number" , it's still annoying!

    STOP CALLING!!

Do you know how long they are allowed to make calls for after a customer has closed the account? I am not a customer anymore but I still keep getting calls. I call the number back and they say they will put me on the "do not call" list but they just continue to call at an increasing frequency. I'm up to 3 calls daily. I'm on the national do-not-call list, I am not a customer. This is harassment and I'm at my wits end!!!!

This number started calling me about a week ago, *every day* so far, and usually at least two calls a day. If not more.

I've been getting a ridiculous amount of spam calls in the past twelve months, and one that I accidentally picked up a week and a half ago might have been from this number - not sure. I was silent when I realised it wasn't the call I was expecting, and the line went dead after about ten seconds.

This number never left me a voicemail despite over a dozen calls now. I rather doubt the caller is TWC like they've been telling other folks. If you've "done business with the company," (sic, DNC Registry) TWC still legally allowed to call you (at least for the duration of their service to your home). BUT, I have dealt with their tec support before and, personally, this doesn't sound like them to me.

Sure they can call all they want, but the more they call the more likely I am to end my service with them and tell everyone else around me how annoying they are. If they want to keep customers, they should learn to stop annoying us.

This is a marketing call from Time Warner Cable.  Based on information I got off another website, I emailed TWC via their customer service page and asked to be put on their "Do Not Call List."  Less than 2 hours later I received a reply about my email, asking to verify some account information so they knew they were actually dealing with the account holder.  I responded, and less than 2 hours after that I received my confirmation email that I was on their DNC list.  Since then, no more calls.

Caller ID Spoofing: Generally, the scam works like this - you receive a call where total strangers pretend to be someone else and they back up their claims with spoofed Caller ID. The scam artists might then ask for money, demand a payment, request your personal information, addresses, or banking info. People report getting calls from 'Secretary of State', grandchildren, law firms, IRS, and government officials.
For example, in one scheme the caller identified himself as a court official and informed the victim that she is being prosecuted for failing to show up for Jury Duty. When the victim replies that this is the first time she hears that she was summoned for jury duty, the caller suggests that this may be a clerical error in the court system, and he asks for her full legal name, date of birth, and Social Security number to check the official summons files. The scam artist informs the victim that this data will be kept confidential, but it is required for cancellation of the outstanding arrest warrant.
In another variation of this scam 'government officials' call to offer a 'Government Grant': 'Because you pay your income taxes on time, you have been awarded a $12,500 government grant! To get your free grant, simply give us your checking account information, and we will deposit the grant into your bank account!'  You may receive a message like this, where the caller claims to be from a government agency or some other organization with an official sounding name. The caller might claim that you will qualify to receive a "free grant" to pay for education costs, home repairs, home business expenses, or bills. In any case, the claim is the same: your application for a grant is guaranteed to be accepted, and you'll never have to pay the money back.
Scam IRS calls: In this scheme people receive phone calls from a caller who impersonates an IRS employee. The caller asks the taxpayer for their Social Security and bank account numbers, claiming that the IRS needs the information to complete the processing of the taxayer's payment. In another variation of the scheme, 'an IRS employee' states that the check issued by IRS has not been cashed, and the IRS is calling to verify the individual’s bank account number.
Hang up, find the official number of the organization and call to report the incident. Also, don't send money - cash, check or money order - by courier, overnight delivery or wire to anyone who insists on immediate payment.

LOL, it's not the change of season yet! Usually we get the TWC blitzkreig phone calls with the change of the season, on cue, give or take a few weeks. In 7 years, folks, I've opted out of their phone calls so many times it's laughable. They don't care.

Why do I use them? Because they have the best Internet. We really don't have much else out here.

Brand new phone line/number.  Haven't even listed with the DNC as I suspect the most unscrupulous telemarketers get their numbers from that published list.  Phone has been turned on for 2 weeks and already the scum suckers of the earth are calling.

No idea who this "company" is, except unwanted by many people, including me.  Can't turn them in since I just now registered.

They called again this morning (3X now in 2 days).  Talked to the salesman and told him I am not interested and to take our number of their calling list.  For some reason he acted suprised and said okay.

It IS Time Warner canvassing for customers.  I just got CenturyLink 2 weeks ago so some sort of list must of been generated.  Can't think of any other reason for the onslaught (this telemarketer and many others) of calls.

Too bad REAL people can't find a REAL job -- Oh, they can!
