Yep, They keep calling and don't bother to leave a message.   But, I don't pick up if I don't know who it is.  I'll just block them dimwits until they get tired of calling.   :)

Well, that's interesting. Do you mean to tell me the Discover card company claims this number is not a contractor working for them? Interesting indeed. Anybody who has time, go investigate the relationship of Discover to Portfolio Recovery Associates, the bottom-feedng zombie debt vermin.  That outfit has been harassing our household for years, and we never answer the phone. After I mentioned it to the consumer protection office in our state Attorney General's office, they were compelled to identify themselves on the caller ID every time they set their robo-caller machines loose on us. Maybe this is a way to get around that requirement -- caller ID says "UNAVAILABLE." Which is just what we are, vis a vis these freaks.

Have a lot of calls from this number don't answer since I have caller ID. Never leaves a message so you know it isn't anything worthwhile.

These people call my home several times a week and sometimes several times a day never leaving a message. They are persistant if nothing else.I don't want them tying up my phone and I do not have a discover card.

I recently purchase a Panasonic cordless phone with a feature that automatically hangs up from unwanted calls like Discover even unlisted or private callers. Just input telephone numbers into memory up to 30 total to be block. Annoyance's have ceased........

Fact 1 - the DNC list does not work!  Everyone knows this...or should know this!
Fact 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work!  A total waste of time.  Done that.
Fact 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help.
Fact 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5 - there are and will be no "class action" suits filed.  Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.

PLEASE do this - buy a call blocking telephone.
Call blocking phones are very inexpensive ($40-$60) and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones.  They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd. wireless handset.  And they work beautifully!  These phones also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every imaginable call list.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.  THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
                     We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.

We have gotten calls from this number periodically, usually when we are already on the telephone. We have repeatedly told Discover Card NOT to call us. For a while, we got those stopped. Now they are starting back up again. It is time to dump our one Discover Card. We never use it anymore anyway.

GTH, discover! 4 calling me past 8pm...i,m cutting up all my discover cards & don't send me more cards.

call it back and press 1 to speak to a rep.  they can stop the calls.  if enough of us call maybe theyll listen.  i threatened to close my account and he apologized.  hopefully feedback makes its way up the chain.

Get a call every night between 7 pm & 8 pm I just ingore them when I see that number on my caller i.d.

They repeatedly called and I finally answered. It was Discover card and I was a winner of a $25 gift card. I knew that everytime I used it, I was entered for the $1 Million prize but wasnt aware of the daily prizes. No sales pitch and no information was requested.

Receive calls from this number nearly every day.  Haven't answered just because we don't answer UNKNOWN calls.
