John Masters with Brennan and Clark. Not AMICABLE! Fraud. He keeps calling suggesting we need to care of a matter. Calls every day even tho my number is  registered with DO NO CALL.  Never leaves anything but the threat and his phone number which turns out was fraud/spam over 10 years ago as well!

receive call from b&c at work(hung up) and at home using my maiden name from 30yrs ago to settle amicably, what I do not know using the name of an insurance company I should settle with,  also a message on tape at home did not reply or call back. I have no intention of replying or discussing anything with them.

VM today from a Jack Ellis at Brendan & Clark phone number 630-359-6112 with return call number 888-217-3212 extension 6112. Said it was an urgent legal matter regarding a business no longer in operation. I don't intend to return the call.

Just received a call from this number yesterday and have no idea why. Adam Taylor said a letter was sent out which I’ve never received. When I called back, I had to leave a message.

These individuals make threats and demand that I call them. I have no issues with the law, and everything is in order. They threatened to arrest me if I didn't pay an outstanding bill. They take advantage of innocent, hardworking people. I sent them a letter requesting documentation regarding the debt they are trying to collect—specifically, a debt validation letter—but they never sent anything. Now, they are calling my phone number. It’s not fair! They come across as impostors and scammers.

That statement indicates that your caller is a scammer!
Debts are civil matters, not criminal.  You can be sued for a debt, but you cannot be arrested.

Of course not.  This is a scam and the debt is fake, so there is nothing to be validated.  Besides, they know that if they send anything (like a fake validation) back to you, you can take it to the Post Office and turn it over to the local Postal Inspector as mail fraud (and as I learned sitting on a Federal Grand Jury, the Postal Inspection Service takes mail fraud very seriously).

Block this number and any others they may call from.  It cannot stop them from calling, but it will stop your phone from ringing and send their calls to voicemail (which you can delete later).  Do not engage with them any further (do not talk to them and do not write to them again), just completely ignore them.  If they cannot get any further response from you, after a while (most likely longer than if you had not written back to them) they will give up on you and move on to someone else.
