some guy called asking for the person responsible for the legal department. I said he wasn't here, he's like well can i send you a fax, i said we don't have one, he said well let me leave a voicemail, i said ok hang up and call again (i kno real unprofessional of me right) and then i said just let me take a message, he said he was BEN DIVINE  of BRENDON AND CLARK  and he needed my boss to call ASAP about resolving a legal matter, i said, do you even know who ur calling, he said yea (the name of the business i work for) and he said can i get a name? like an idiot i gave him the 1st name but now im so upset that these guys are trying to scam us.

Haha, a fellow ex-employee. Everyone should believe this person. I also worked there are all of this is 100% accurate. The environment is sickening.

Chances are you owe the money, call the company the debt is from and deal with them. Brennan & Clark has no morals.

A Mark Roberts called me from Brennan and Clark. This man stated he was an attorney and would advise his client to take legal action against me if I didn't give him my checking account information over the phone within 24 hours  and let him charge my account for a portion of the amount due which is an amount i told him they told me they were gonna bill me for due to a big mix up on my insurance policy not being cancelled and that the matter would not go away. I thought I resolved the issue with the company that renewed my insurance policy without my knowledge after my business closed but he assured me I still owe the full amount of the policy for another year. I am so glad I found this site and did not give him my bank information. I will be contacting my insurance company first thing tomorrow to see what is going on.

I get the same call every so often and I listened to my voicemail and sure enough it wa Brennan and Clark.

Anthony Holmes of Brennan and Clark just called my work asking to speak to my boss; he even harassed me multiple times to give him my bosses cell phone number, which if I did that's something for which i could be terminated. He too said this was a time sensitive matter... he left the number along with an extension and file number. I thought I smelled SCAM right off the bat...

got the same call as others posted today... caller was very harsh, ignorant, and rude. Was given the number 888- 217-3212 ext 6125 and a file #1 12 -______, and I should speak to Ben Divine (really) ?  did not return call, although it disturbed me at first, I had a hunch to "google" this Brennan/Clark  and found all of the  comments above, caller did not give his name, aw :{    I smell a rat....

I received a pone call from "Gayle" who wouldn't give me a last name or any other identifier.  She is the rudest woman I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.  She demanded my routing number and checking account number.  I said I wasn't comfortable with that.  She was so nasty.  I told her that I didn't like her tone and how she was treating me on the phone.  She proceeded to tell me that it wasn't her job to be nice to me.  She was a horrible, awful person.  I called Safeco, who she said was her client, and advised them of the horrible business practices of this "company."    Hopefully someone does something about these awful people!

I too have been getting a call from George Daniels. He threatens to take me to court and it will cost so much more money than I owe. He pushes how time is of the essence and there cannot be any delays. I due owe some money to my insurance company but I was waiting for a yearly audit. He claims the only way to settle is for me to give my account number and the routing number to make monthly payments. I refused. I am so glad I stumbled on this site. Thanks for everyone else that wrote in.

Got a letter from these scammers signed by Ben Devine.  Called the day I got the letter and left a voice mail. Never heard back.

Callled again and spoke to Devine.  He's an idiot as I asked for a copy of the invoice to see if our company owed the $$ and he couldn't produce it.  Gave me the runaround.


IGNORE THEIR LETTERS AND CALLS.  SCAMMERS.

Have been receiving similar calls at my place of employment.  They are not directed to me but are coming in on the general telephone line.  A guy calling from the offices of Brennon & Clark at 888-217-3212 asking for a return call to extension 6125 and to reference file #12-217086 on the return call.  Will not be calling him back.  Just deleted it and wrote it off as a nusiance call.

Got message to call Anthony Holmes at Brenden & Clark extension 6136 file # 12-211702.  Said it was a legal matter and last chance to call and handle it in a professional manner.  Insisted he sent letters and left previous messages.   Won't be taking anymore calls from that number.  Thanks to everyone else who wrote in.

Thanks for this forum.  They were calling to say my husband owes money, but didn't day what for, and I knew it had to be bogus.  Saved me from calling them back and having them harrass me over nothing!  They said my contact person was a Gale Zimmerman.  I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but I just got a call today.
