This number is driving me insane! They call everyday, at least 5 times a day, and worst of all, they're in spanish! I'm thinking of finding these barstards and burning down wherever they're based out of. Or I'm going to kill myself! Not really, but that's what it makes me feel like.

NOBODY at this number has NAY CREDIT CARDS - NONE - ZERO!!!!  We have filed numerous complaints to no avail!  Good Luck getting the idiots to quit calling

We are all so used to getting these hokey phone calls, it's surprising that companies are still using a call center in India to collect funds.  Kind of stupid, if you ask me.  No one in their right mind is going to give info over the phone from some random number/person!  If you get the call, use it as a red flag that one of your payments could be delinquent, and follow up with the number on your statement or account, just for piece of mind.

These [***] call 5-10 times a day, at all hours, looking for my mother, who lives with us.  The caller ID says "Unavailable," but the recording says, "This is an urgent message for [her name] from..." and then it either says "GE Money" or "Gap Inc." regarding her Old Navy card, which she is not behind on.  Twice she's actually answered instead of just hanging up on them, and the person on the other end of the line said they needed her to give them her account number to verify that they had the right person.  One time she said, "I don't have it handy," and the other time she said, "You called me, you give me the number and I'll tell you if it's right."  Both times the person said they'd call back and hung up quickly.  Sounds like a SCAM to me!!!

Started getting theses calls today.
I have NEVER, EVER shopped at GAP, BANANA Republic, Old Navy or any of these other places mentioned in these posts. Needless to say, I don't have any of their cards.

Gap Inc collection services. Calling in regard to now,my paid off Old Navy card. I was 21 days past due over the holidays due to a lay-off and Christmas. Easy enough to take care of...

As if it wasn't bad enough that these credit collectors have been calling for a Jackie R., now they're calling for an Amy C. Thanks, T-mobile, for giving me a phone number used by people that don't pay their bills. I tried the * multiple times and got through to a Nancy. She looked up my phone # and asked if I was related to or knew Amy C. and I said no. Never met the gal. She apologized and said my # will be removed from the list. And it was GAP credit card services. Thanks for the tip!

GEMB WILL DELIBERATELY DEFAULT YOUR ACCOUNT EVERY CHANCE THEY GET.

Did it to me with a rarely used JCP card - removed my mailing address and within a week $100 in fraud charges mysteriously appeared on my account.

Since I only get statements when I actually use the card I was not expecting to see any as I had just paid it off in full before the address was removed and charges showed up.

NO statements, no  calls, nothing for months. First I learned of a problem the collection agency was calling.

I filed a complaint with the Office of Thrift Supervision (www.ots.gov) and GEMB fixed their mistakes, removed it from collections, removed the fraud charges and my corrected my credit rating to paid as agreed.

Even more fun, not even a half hour after I talked to Nancy, they called me again asking for Amy C. So much for deleting me off their list.

Some of us don't have a GAP card or Old Navy card and never did. So why are they calling me?  GET A CLUE. Not all of us are not paying out debts!

Well, missy, I have an Old Navy account and have Never Ever Ever been late on a payment and don't even have a balance of about $40, so why are they bothering me?

why would someone make a payment if the name they keep asking for has nothing to do with you. its a scam they just want your personal info. get a life!

I don't have a gas card, therefore a GE Money scam, since the message on my machine said from GE Money

caller ID shows another number which is GE Money 678-518-2880

Susieq, you need to understand that 99% of the time, in terms of the comments here (and in my annoying case), they have the wrong #/wrong person and are pestering us day and night, at all hours.  I've had my same phone # for at least 15 years.  MAYBE, susieq, you should consider that this could lead to us all not liking GE and telling our friends to not like them because they are rude enough to call the wrong person at all hours of the day and night.  Incredibly rude if they ever do answer the phone when you pick up.

Very similar experience to John's post on this website on 5/15. Except that instead of a gas card for me it's apparently "banana republic credit services".
Have never even shopped at Banana Republic much less have one of their credit cards so appears to be a scam stating to call this number or go to bananarepublic.com/brcard to manage your account. If I go to the real banana republic website and click on credit card it doesn't take me to bananarepublic.com/brcard so definitely fishy. The message on my machine said it was from GE Money and caller ID shows another number which is GE Money 678-518-2880
