- SkipCalled business phone. Caller claimed to be from the City of Mesa, AZ, but would not give his or her name. Stated that he or she would like permission to publish our business as the "top office" in our category. None of this makes sense. Do not plan to return call.

- ChrisCalled from private number claiming to be a process servicer, gave the 888 number in the thread. Called it and was told it was a lawyers office and i have a pending court case and would give no info but that it was an 8 yr old collection debt for cash call online services and gave me cash calls number called cash call and they have no records for my info. The 888 number called back the next day to follow up saying since the cadh call place has no records of me they tell the judge im disputing it. Such a scam. I have gotten numerous calls like this, all claiming these same things. I record them all and forward them to the police and fbi since impersonating a court offical and threatening people is a federal crime everyone should do the same. So far they have figure out these people are using an abandoned ice skating rank as their address and phone number electronically, but havent located their true base of operations yet.
- Caller: Settler lawyer and assiotates
- KaeruCalled a couple times today - Caller ID says Synchrony Bank, which does store credit cards as mentioned by other posters. The auto message was looking for "Suzanne Lepper". Didn't bother to go through the prompts. Assuming someone took out credit and used our phone number in the application or it was a transposed number.
- Caller: Synchrony Bank / Store cards
- Call type: Debt collector
- JCI generally don't answer "Unknown" callers or 800 numbers I'm not already familiar with, but from reading this thread it is probably Synchrony Bank. I have an Old Navy card, and I looked it up today and found that I was late with the payment. I still won't answer Unknown calls, but at least I made the payment today.
- Caller: Synchrony Bank
- Call type: Debt collector

- Freda| 1 replyIt is a SCAM!!!.I called my credit card holders and my account are up to date,no late payments at all. These people wanted my whole SS# and credit card/bill collectors well they never ask for that they only always want the last 4 digits of your SS#.They also wanted me to make a payment, I do not know how much they wanted,as I knew it was a scam.So what they are doing is the following ( they get your credit card number from the store and then they get a payment from you banking card so they have both of these numbers and your social this allows them to make purchases and get cash from both cards.I called back with false info and they took it. I told them they where a$$holes and to stop scamming people.I hope this helps someone. If not you are going to get screwed for some money and time.If you worry you missed a payment just all call the credit card holder and ask them if they have a problem with your account.they will work with you if you had a late payment they want to get the money so the will try and work with you.Have agreat day all

- BigA replies to FredaWell that post pretty much doesn't make an sense at all.
- Doesn't;t matter| 1 replyEven if money is owed to an account legally they cannot harass people and call extremely early or late hours and cannot call multiple times a day.
- Call type: Unwanted
- BigA replies to Doesn't;t matterThird party debt collectors can legally call you between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm your time. No federal law actually says how many times they can call you during the day. A judge determines whether it was harassment when an FDCPA lawsuit is brought against the debt collector.
Since this seems to be an original creditor, then they are not regulated by federal collection laws, and are only regulated in five states. - aat least 4 times/day calling. Hiya app has flagged it as spam.
