- Diane O'DonnellReceived call from GE Capital about my Old Navy Card that had been PAID in FULL 4 days before Call. They requested information such as SS#, Card#, Phone #, address and email address. I told them they called me, they should already have this info. I called Old Navy (number on the back of card) They told me THEY DID NOT have call made, my account is in Good Standing. I called the 1-888248-3182 Told them that OLD NAVY did Not authorize them to call me, THEY HUNG UP ON ME, makes me nervous if this is not a Legit call.

- GeorgeThe call is coming from GTE Capital Retail Bank. Check out GTE Capitol Retail Bank Credit Card Agreement on-line. These are the people that hold or finance your Old Navy/Gap credit card. On that site it will tell you the terms of the agreement between you, Old Navy, and their bank. If you have never had a card, etc., and they are calling you perhaps someone made up a number to give them and it happened to be yours, maybe the phone number is a digit off from someone else's, or the person who had your number before you had an Old Navy Card. Perhaps they are still giving it out. Trust me people give out false information all the time. I used to have an Old Navy account, and because I had a lot on my plate, I would on occasion forget to pay one month. I figured that not being able to purchase anything else, and/or the late fee was my "See what happens when you forget to pay" punishment, but "Oh No"
They HOUND you on top of it, so I just cancelled my card. Wish everyone else would. I'm sure there are other banks who wouldn't do this- Caller: GTE Capital Retail Bank.

- Miss MarieI keep getting calls from this number insisting that I owe money that I know I don't. They want me to use a check to pay over the phone, but I refuse. I told the caller that it was I was feeling harrassed and aske to speak to a supervisor. She apologized and said that she wished that she could help me.

- JamesDGot a call from these guys looking for my wife's sister. Odd as she's never lived here and my phone line is a new house line. I assume they did some analysis on names/relatives and call us. When I told them she didn't live here, they asked for her number, I told them to F off.
Yes, your name is "Brad" no last name, no ID, and have a thick as hell Indian accent. [***]. - Hanna BecI have been called 2-3 times a day for the past week. When I called back they said I had not made the payment that was due November 11. I told them to send me a bill with the finance charge added and I will pay it. They wanted me to pay online w my banking information. Of course I refused. We haven't charged anything at Banana Republic in the past few months. You can be sure, though, that I will be cutting up any Old Navy, Banana Republic or Gap credit cards that we may have tucked away somewhere.

- iwonttellReceived a call from this number 16 times today. After seeing the posts I called the number on the back of my Old Navy Card because I do have a legit account. They were very helpful and let me know that I missed my payment on Feb 1; was just an honest mistake so I paid them over the phone and they were all set. Was very nice and helpful. So to everyone posting it as a scam maybe you should just pay your bill and they will stop calling.

- Kenneth LoganThese people keep calling 3-4X day for past several weeks! No answer when picked up line! Harrassing BS for sure for some product I don't want or need!
- iodineThese idiots call anywhere from 5 am to 10 pm. I do not get a response if I hang on. I hit a variety of keys (which are suppose to confuse the computer) and then I get another call and 'they' play some raspy music with voice that is unaudible. I have tried to block their number but the phone company has not done it. So much for CenturyLink's customer service. Is there any way to stop this.
