Telling someone they won anything...is not advertising! It is false advertisement. for you to say this, just tells everyone you are a complete idiot! When someone sends you a letter saying you won something and you didn't...it is a scam. You must be an employee at silver leaf resorts!

I think everyone who gets this letter should sue this company for the listed prizes...I am sure it would only take 1 or 2 people to put these people out of business. There is a law against false advertisement and there is a law against scams.

Korey...you should sue them. I don't normally agree with sueing...but this case i agree with it. I think we need people to start sueing them. you have all the info to sue them. there are laws against false advertisement and scams.

i looked this AVC travel up in the internet and got all these letters. Thanks for warning everyone whose suspecting the scam before it happened. I will call the FBI and send them this so called vouchers.

my parents recive this letter it was saying everything you guys wrote here so i told them throw that garbage out the just want to scam you i knew it right away that was a scam i wonder why for example police can't do something about it maybe track it and see who is behind all of this don't send this back don't call throw it out

Thank you so much for these posts i just received a letter from av for the ca and the trip i am so glad i looked them up first i won't even bother calling them just another scam but on the bottom of the letter it does say something about timeshare isn't that funny

I usually throw this junk away but this looked like it might actually be something... 50 postings later I see that everyone is a big winner.  This just isn't right.  I might call just to hear what they say.  I need a laugh, now.

The same notice just arrived in todays mail offering a Mercedes Benz, Porsche, money, and a CRUISE.  Wow, with opportunities like this I think I'll quit my job and start living on the prizes I can win from AVC Travel.

Yea i not sure if i got the phone calls because i dont answers 800 or 888 Numbers . but i did recieve a letter stating i won a mercedes or porsche  value 49,000 or 40,00 cash plus the vacations etc. i did a search on AVC travel and ended up here. thank you for this posting it really looked legit.if i hadnt come here i would have called the number. by the way the number i was suppose to call was 1-888-435-9129

Gee, I must be special.  I got a boarding voucher in the mail!  If anyone would just stop and think how they could award all these prizes and gifts to thousands and thousands of people, it would put a stop to this kind of "advertisement".  The airline industry is going in the tank because of oil prices, etc., etc.  The reason this continues is people fall for it.  Nothing is free.  Is this giveaway funded by the Gates Foundation?  Of course not!  Someone should try to copywrite the words,  "You may have won, ..."  then sue all these bottom feeders that use it to reel people in.  As Bill Clinton would say, "It depends on the meaning of Won".  Someone won, and it ain't you!!

P.S.  I got the letter too!  Do you think the Boarding Voucher No. is the same on everyone's Voucher>  I'll bet so.  The Registration number may be different so they know who they've reeled in.

The letter I got said all the same, except gave 1-800-327-4614 as the number to call to validate the voucher.
