- Kathleen replies to TedI've been getting calls from Amex Alliance from 1-855-897-3041. Don't answer & of course no message.
- John replies to KimIt's best to have them put your name on a do not call list. They may delete your name from the current calling list, but when a new promotion comes out, but your name will probably be on a new promotion calling list.
- ruthKeep calling im tired of it

- Chemin de ferA representative from a firm called Alliance Amex called me and left a message offering me a credit card for my business.
I contacted Amex Canada and they confirmed that Alliance Amex is a valid firm and not a phishing expedition.- Caller: Alliance Amex
- Stevie T.| 1 replySlight variation here in Langley BC Canada. I get the message UNAVAILABLE instead of the 888 no. so I can't even vent.
I am wondering if there is any connection between the recent switch by Costco from MBNA (Mastercard) to AMEX and the
flurry of irritating phone calls. Perhaps complaints directed to Costco might be productive although I won't hold my breath
expecting quick action.- Caller: AMEX Alliance
- Louise replies to NicoleI have the same problem - everyday they call the cell # at least twice.
- Heidicaller now BLOCKED!
- Annoyed in ABI've received 2 calls from this number in the past month.
The first time the display name showed "Toll Free Service" (June 5th).
Today it showed "Alliance Amex" (June 15th).
Like many others I AM on the CRTC's Do Not Contact List (DNCL). These people are calling in defiance of the rules.
With regard to American Express, I have even placed my mailing information on a Do Not Mail registry operated by Canadian Marketing Association (a group that Amex Bank of Canada is a charter member of) and find that I still receive credit card solicitations in the mail from them. I'm sure it's because they farm out all the campaigns (mail & cold calling) to people in third world countries and there is inadequate oversight. What a pathetic organization - Amex Bank of Canada.- Caller: Alliance Amex

- LindsayI am a receptionist for a medical clinic and I get calls from Alliance AMEX on a weekly basis. They ask to speak to the business owner, who is always busy with patients when they call, so they ask when is a better time to call back and every time I tell them lunch time yet they never call back at lunch time....getting annoyed with answering their waste-of-time calls.
- Caller: Alliance AMEX
- GailI just called American Express 1-800-869-3016 (toll free) and talked to an agent. (I used extension #1 to report a stolen or lost card.) I explained that I don't have an AMEX card but I keep getting these phone calls from Alliance AMEX and I want to be taken off their marketing list. It took several minutes to be transferred to the right person, but she DID take me off the list. I hope that's the end of months of nuisance calls.

- TondaiJust happened this morning at10:15a.m. I received a call from this company in Burlington Ontario.... I don’t have an American Express. They are just collecting information I think.
- Caller: American Express
- MacDaddyPapaBearGetting calls from this number right after the grocery store Sobeys changed from their in house point system to "Air Miles". All old point customers should have automatically got converted to Air Miles but now i keep getting these calls. AMEX related to Air Miles ? Air Miles selling customer numbers ? Sobeys selling customer numbers ? I dunno i just don't answer.
- MargaretWe are receivning calls from this company. We do not need any insurance on anything. We did not ask for them to call.
Leaving a hang up on my answering machine, and when played back there is only a very loud beeping noise.- Caller: Alliance
- JMO replies to Stevie T.no, Stevie there is no connection. But glad to see the conspiracy theory is alive and well.

- JMO| 1 replysecond call from this number in 10 days. Don't run a business; never have had (or will have) an AMEX.
I find I get calls from people trying to hawk to businesses all the time (from 'increasing my google rating' to selling office supplies, etc etc). So somewhere there is a phone list these companies buy in order to sell aggressively to businesses. That's the list you have to get your number off of.- Caller: Alliance Amex
- JMO replies to JMOStill waiting for someone with a brain cell or two to be at the other end and figure out the call is going to a.fax. I suppose not much chance of that.....Alliance AMEX website has recruitment notices for workers and the requirements to get a job are pretty limited....as we would all expect.
They call weekly....10ish today - Anonym replies to HEYYyou say you don't call strangers at random and that we are at fault for agreeing to have you call us. Yeah. Bullsshit. I have had nothing to do with AMEX, never had a card...NEVER WILL...and I AM NOT A BUSINESS.
You make cold calls to random numbers, despite what your supervisors say.
