Got this call several times. The other side said that they were American Express and wanted to set up an account for you. I just said no and never answers this caller. I never provide any personal or business information to unknown callers.

This number calls us daily, even though I have blocked their number.     They never leave a message.

They called and I answered, stating the name of the business and asking how i could help them. Gentleman promptly excused himself by saying he got the wrong number- I laughed a bit after hanging up as this is the first time this has ever happened. Most try and ask for our manager!

Easy fix.  Yes, it's some [***] stumping for Amex.  I called back, got a 1 option for English.  I got a pleasant enough young woman stating she was with 'Bill Gosselin (sic) for Amex'.  I told her the last time I looked at my Equifax credit rating, it was 410 (not true, but effective here).  'Still wanna give me an Amex card?' I said.  'Take my number off your list'.  She took it in a flash, and I hope that will be the end of it.

Even today, nearly 9 years later, the calls continue.

It's not American Express that's calling you, it's some other scammer.

I answered, no one there, eventually the line disconnected.

I put them on hold, they hung up before I got back to them

I'm in ON, Canada. This number has been calling me 2-3 times a day, almost everyday. Thank God for Call Blocking apps.
May be AMEX is getting tired of $$$, and is now trying VERY hard to annoy it's customers?

umm... AMEX has many customers in Canada...  like myself for example.

I keep getting calls from someone named Vincent (the latest about 15 minutes ago), who says he's calling about my computer and work that is being done on it (there isn't! - it's fine. Sometimes it is from this number and sometimes from "Out of Area." I have told him the last 3 times not to call me. I told him today that if he calls again I am calling the police. I am beyond annoyed!!!

Scammer. They don't know who they are calling either (had no personal information other than my website).

I get 2x calls daily for 3 weeks now. 10 am then 330 pm.

Got a call from this number on my phone a few times but didn’t pick up. I blocked the number.
