Received call from this number and they asked for my brother.  Would not tell me what it is about.  Thick accent! Scam I'm sure.

No message on recorder - disconnect while the message played.

I called the number back - it is Allied Interstate - a collection agency

Received 2 calls from them (on my cell) in the past 3 days. Around the same time pretty much. Between 11AM-130PM. Haven't picked up, don't leave a message. Gave up after about 4 rings.

Several calls per week from this number.  Always disconnects when the VM kicks in, never leaves a message.

Several of you have identified these calls as coming from Allied Collections.  This outfit was investigated by several attornies general and fined a huge amount of money for their "less than legal" practices.  Such as, buying old out of statute, written off or otherwise uncollectible debts for pennies on the dollar.  Many times these "accounts" have ben sold multiple times.

Best thing to do is ignore any calls from this number and let them go directly to VM.

There way too many of these bottom feeder outfits operating, but our government does nothing about them.

Called again about 15 minutes ago. Sent it to VM, no message.

Caller disconnected before my answering message ended.

I have received at least 4 calls within the last 2 wks. Both male and female with an accent, sounded like from India to me, trying to get me to confirm my name. I kept asking who are you , they repeat their name and state they have to verify my identity. I tell them to f off, and quit calling.

I have gotten numerous calls from this number the first time I answered the guy said I owed $3000 for an AT&T bill in my name which I knew was BS since I have never had a AT&T bill in my name. I plan to report them asap

Seems to be bogus debt collection "agnecy." Guy has foreign accent. Put the number on call block. Then called the number back and kept saying to them, "Hello? Can you hear me? Hello, is anyone there? Hello?" I don't have any current debts.

I have no idea who this person is. They call me repeatedly and never speak.

They call me as well on my cell I use Mr number and you can block the call to pick up hang up

Foreign man calling many times a day.... every day... early,  late,,.. very late .. hanging up, not leaving messages..  very annoying.

Man these guys are rediculous!  Same thing here, no message from 7 previous calls.  I answered today, and a guy with a heavy accent asked for my husband.  I didn't say anything.  You'd think if they wanted to actually collect they'd leave a message!  Scam scam scam, we owe nothing to no one and I know this for sure!!

Man with very thick accent (Indian or Pakistani) rudely began with the statement this call may be recorded.  I cut him off, said I live in Florida and refuse to have my phone calls recorded.  He hung up.

This man is asking for a person and saying a personal business matter.  Don't know how he got my number.

I just receved a call asking for a "Daytona Tisby".  I receive these calls about 2 times a day.  This time I decided to call back and a lady with a middle eastern accent picked up. I asked about the company name and she said "Allied" something.  She asked if I was "Daytona" and I told her no and that I didn't want to be called again.  She said she would take me off the list.  Hope it works.

Call them back and tell them to take you off their list.  These calls are being generated from Middle Eastern countries so the Do not call list apparently does not help

We just received another call from this number. I googled it and found all these reports on it, so we decided to have some fun. My husband, grand-daughter, and I all called the number and spammed them back! We said "spam spam spam!" over and over and my husband made up a story about them owing HIM money! If everybody started slamming them with their own spam, maybe they would go away!

Got another call this evening decided to have some fun.  Like above a man with a thick accent asking to speak to my sister who hasn't lived here for 15 years; I replied "NOT EVEN CLOSE".  He repeated her name; I replied "YOU ARE VIOLATING THE DO NOT CALL LIST, I'VE REPORTED THIS NUMBER TO ATT SECURITY AND I'M RECORDING THIS CONVERSATION".  He paused and mention the word "but"; I then said "I'M FILING CHARGES OF INVASION OF PRIVACY AND HARASSMENT AGAINST YOU AND YOUR SO-CALLED COMPANY".  He replied "oh [***]".
