There was a break in calls for about a week from this number. And they started back up again. Once on Monday (at about 8:30 at night) and one just now (3:30 in the afternoon) Still refuse to answer and send it to VM. No VM's have been left.

I called the number back. Same man with think accent. I asked what company this was and he said allied something. He then asked for my husband, obviously has caller ID. He talkes really fast and doesnt want to answer my questions about who they are.

Called at 1134PM but I didn't get out of bed to answer...left no message...I tried to call back in the morning but only got recording: "all operators are busy, please wait for next..."

This phone number continues to appear on caller i.d. every other day.  I never answer any 888-call & usually they disconnect as soon as the recorder begins.

Got a call. I called back from my google number and found out it was for someone I do not know. I doubt they'll take my number off the list though.  Added the number to my spam list in contacts.

I set up a Google greeting of a fax machine answering the call and made that my default greeting for this number.

they call my cell repeatedly, I never answer and won't set up voice mail. I'm going to request a new cell number.

These jerks called at 11 pm tonight.  I answered to chew them out, but no one replied. I hung up.  After reading these posts, I am puzzled about what kind of scam these incompetent fools think they're perpetrating.  They seem to be very good at wasting people's time and getting them angry.

The phone woke me up at 6:20am and I couldn't wake up and answer it (thank goodness) before it stopped ringing. My caller ID noted it came from this phone number. These people should be reported and fined for making calls at that hour of the morning! I've been ill and that call ruined the sleep I was finally getting after being awake several times during the night. Do they have no conscience?!

Legitimate Companies Should Properly Identify Themselves On The Caller ID.  The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call.  Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

Just called again. Didn't answered, ignored the call.
Just won't give up.

is there any real point to reporting these calls  ?

A few years back there was a law passed that all companies had to say who they were before asking to speak with the person they were calling for.  Also caller id they had to list their name and number, unfortunately cell phones only show a number and never a name.
