We got a call again from this number today at 12:16 pm, and it was again blocked by our call blocker. The caller ID has always been UNAVAILABLE. Please see my posts of 12 May 2015, 14 May 2015, and 15 Oct 2015. As I wrote previously, the number is that of the Epilepsy Foundation New England Donation Center (http://donateclothes.epilepsynewengland.org/). The reason for not showing their caller ID may be that no one would answer if they knew they were a charity. Charities are exempt from the National Do Not Call Registry.

Don't know who called BUT when you do not have the guts to leave your name on your number but put "UNAVAILABLE" AS YOUR NAME THEN NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE, YOU DO NOT DESERVE MY BOTHERING TO ANSWER YOUR CALL!!!!! And I block your calls.

We got a call again from this number at 1:30 pm, and it was again blocked by our call blocker. The caller ID was still UNAVAILABLE. They called last year on May 12 and 14, 2015. Please see my posts of those dates. As I wrote in those posts, the number is that of the Epilepsy Foundation New England Donation Center (http://donateclothes.epilepsynewengland.org/). As I wrote then, in my opinion a legitimate charity should identify itself on the caller ID.

What Shoestring 45 + Ken said.  I told "Cindy" that she can *** herself because a charity should identify itself on caller id.  And "Cindy", it wouldn't hurt to wait for me to say hello instead of starting your speech.

They called again today at 12:54 pm, and the call was blocked again by our call blocker. I highly recommend such a device to avoid these nuisances. The caller ID has always been UNAVAILABLE. Please see my posting yesterday.

They've called frequently in the past, always as "UNKNOWN" and never leave a message. They may well be the Epilepsy Foundation, a perfectly legitimate charity, but with neither a valid caller ID nor an identifying message, I've now forever blocked them.  By the way, CPR Call Blocker (and probably others) allow simple area code blockage: I've now blocked ALL 888, 877, 866, 855, and 844 toll-free numbers, saving space on the call blocker memory.  These represent about 80% of the daily calls that I normally would receive.
    • Caller: "UNKNOWN"

I guess telling "Cindy" that she can **** herself didn't work.  Got a call, no message

Called again. Might as well tell Cindy or her co-worker the next time I get a call that they can *** themselves again.  I guess angry responses don't get you taken off their list (not that I believed that it did).  Picking up or not picking up doesn't matter.  Might as well pick up and tell them to go screw from here on.out.
