BTW, the so-called 'Do Not Call' Registry does NOT apply to charities, politicians, nor any company with which you have an existing relationship.
In other words, it's USELESS.- Caller: Unavailable

- hbCalled them back, it is the Epilepsy foundation, and reached a customer representative, who actually removed my number from their list (or so she promised)
- Caller: Epilepsy Donation Center
- Sir BedevereEpilepsy Foundation of New England. It's their 14th call in the past few months (all blocked here). They hide behind "Unknown Name" in their caller ID, which shows you pretty much how ethical they are. They'll never be getting a penny from us and I discourage others from supporting them, too.

- Waste their time...Have received dozens of these calls. Told the last caller that I was going to start making appointments for pickups, and there would be nothing there when they arrived.
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- LindaI have asked them repeatedly not to call me. A few years ago I scheduled a pick up and they never came after I spent hours collecting stuff for them. I will never ever donate again. I have e-mailed them asking them to stop calling everyday even after I tell them not to. They still call.

The Do Not Call Registry Law EXEMPTS charities, realtors and poiticians. - Robert replies to PeterCharities are EXEMPT. If you registered for the Do NotCal list, you should have READ the exemptions (includes politicians)
- DaveI just keep getting calls from them. It doesn't matter how many times I hang up.
I found this web page by searching the web for the phone number that keeps calling me.- Caller: Epilepsy Foundation
- Joey in MAI just received a call from this number. I didn't pick up. If in fact it is the Epilepsy Foundation, I've asked to be removed from their list at least three times. The caller was always "so sorry" but they keep calling anyway.
- SammieI've been receiving calls from them so I decided to call them back after blocking my number. I heard a woman answer so I just put the phone on mute and let her rant...hello...hello...helloooo...lol. I did this a few more times to give them a taste of their own trickery. Block your number and call them back and don't say anything on the phone...it'll teach them. *67 will block your number.

I live in MA and I have asked them to remove me before. I know they are "legitimate", but they come up on my caller ID as "card services". I just wrote them politely to stop calling me. It didn't work last time, but if it doesn't work this time, I will be more insistent. I will never give them anything, anyway. I have my own favorite charities and I don't have any clothes (or anything else) to donate.- Caller: Epilepsy Foundation

- JustBobThey're back. Two calls, one yesterday - Monday 3PM and one this morning Tuesday
9AM - so far. No name in Caller ID on my landline. They're in my block list, so no idea
what they might had said if they had got to my answering machine or to a person.
