Got several calls from this number--a woman--and they are asking for someone who does not live here--wrong name etc.  I am not calling them back, but will have my bank check my credit rating.  I don't trust Equifax anymore after they were hacked so badly and so much personal information was released.  Pretty sure these people are scam artists with some new voices.

I just got a message saying it was a marketing call for Farmers insurance, they guy was all over the place in his message and sounded totally sketchy.  I do own a business and my business number was called, if i need any marketing consultations we reach out to our marketing dept and the people don't sound like they pulled some bum off the street to make calls.

Someone having a lot of numbers associated with one number wouldn’t be a scam. People do have multiple numbers, home, work, cell, etc. If you want the calls to stop, just give them your number so they know which one to remove. they can’t just pull up a list of numbers and play roulette and guess which one is yours.

They should know what number they called and remove it.  Plus I am sure they have caller ID as pretty much everyone does these days.

Definitely a scam. I know that whatever credit cards that I had in Canada were long before I left the country, and that was 3+ years ago. Under Quebec law, if no action taken within 3 years of the last debit/credit on the account, it cannot be taken to court. And WHY would I, not living in Canada, give a rat's [***] about paying a cent to a Canadian bank that is now non-enforceable for any type of collection? Plus, maybe it would help if they actually had someone who spoke English and not sound like the local Imam from the Al-Qaeda Chapter.

Some people block their numbers when calling in. It saved everyone an immense amount of time if you just gave the number so they’re sure they’re removing the right one. You know they already have your number because they called you (how else would they call you) so if you tell them the correct one, you don’t have to call back! And they don’t call you back! Woo! Problem solved

And why should we help scammers? These people only care about MONEY. So tell me, how much did they pay you to come here and make such a foolish comment?

Call came in...twice once after the other. He asked for my cousin, who was a victim of crime. I said "who wants to know"...he said "Jean-Marc", (no last name), and from "D&A". Seeing as no account that my cousin ever had was in use within the past 3 years (which is the limitation in Quebec to take a debt to court), I said "FU and die!" and hung up. Hope he gets cancer and dies the POS. Preying on victims of crime, he deserves nothing less. Get a REAL job you shathead.

Just received a call from Steven Carbalos, ID Call (Hidden) I never answer any calls that I don't know.
Gave me a reference number. If this is a collection agency they got the wrong person. My Credit Score is 760 and have 5 Credit cards. Will not call back, have better things to do!

No information given. Not even the proper company name. No human contact at the receiver's end.

Every couple years this company calls and harasses me. I am not in collections, and I have never heard of the person they are looking for. My phone number is listed in my name and has been for 9 years - a quick google search would verify this but they are extremely rude and do not listen to logic. I suggested calling the town and inquiring if the individual they need still resides in the town - and was informed "its not that important" before she hung up on me.
