This number with ext 6209 has called multiple times. The first time was stating she was from RBC asking for an employee and the 2nd time she called and said she was from D&A Group services asking for a different employee.  I wonder if RBC knows that this person is calling people on their behalf? hmmm....

Continue to recieve calls regarding a debt i had co signed on. Debt has been cleared, i request literature outlining the debt, in return I get harassed, condescended, threatened and belittled.

I owe no debt. Have no idea how they got my cell phone numbe.
Calls started yesterday(July 24 2019). I returned the call re. "Urgent:" item. . It went to voicemail. then some women called me back right away. She was obnoxious,  rude  and a real piece of work. When I told her I needed to confirm  it was not a scam and would not confirm any of my  info she hung up.
I am surprised  a so called legitimate company can  get away with this?

Stating it was an urgent matte rand call them back as they were acting on behalf of one of my creditors Which I had dealt with previous collectors and had correspondence from my lawyer and it looks like they just passed it on

Received a call from "Amanda Pottinger" at 1-888-395-1147, ext 6241 at D&A on behalf of Tangerine Bank, showing up as a Mississauga number.    We have no outstanding debt whatsoever, so we will NOT be calling back!

Tell them it's illegal for them to call you at work (which it is), & that you'll report them if you they call you there again. I did this with another company, & they stopped.

It's illegal for them to call you at your place of work. I had this happen to me, & I talked to my HR dept & told them what was happening. They said the next time the company called me at work, they would tell them they'll be taking legal action against them, because it's illegal for them to call me at work.

D&A sounds like DNA but they are a bill collection agency.

very difficult message to get the information relayed. the voice was not clear. it was a muffled voice that did not state the number very clearly. they are a bill collection agency.

They left a voicemail on my phone, woman said she was calling from D&A Group services on behalf of TD insurance. She said it was urgent and I needed to call back today and left a few different case numbers. By the way she did know my full name which made it more sketchy because I think this is a scam but I don’t know where they got my information. I called TD bank and my insurance and everything was good on my end, they confirmed it’s a scam. I also checked my credit online and my cards and didn’t find anything suspicious so I’ll keep an eye out. Will post any updates if they call back

It’s the second time that same man called. Mr Stewart ext 6881 and said that it was important that I call back on the same day he called.
He did not mention the subject of his call...

Will not stop calling my number. I have had my phone number for over 3 years and still get debt collection calls from this company and many others asking for someone I have no knowledge of. there seems to be no way to get them to stop. Blocking their numbers might help but doesn't seem to eliminate them, they always pop up using a different phone number.

Similar to others... I called, and the call rang and rang, then disconnected; DESPITE the female "D & A" rep supposedly on behalf of "TD Canada Trust" leaving an EXTENSION (6878), a file #, and the 1-800-395-1147 number.  Can't use an extension etc if no one answers the 1-800#!  The grp also calls using various OTHER #s... (905) 507-8889 and others... I contacted and reported this directly to TD Canada Trust, and they researched my accounts and their communication both at the rep and mgt levels before assuring me that these ARE absolutely SCAMMERS, who have NOTHING to do with the bank in any way related to what they pretend at doing.

These scammers/debt collectors have upped their game using Alex Rivard and Kevin Kehoe of  Rivard, Kehoe LLP at 1115 Midway Blvd in Mississauga giving off the suggestion they are a legal firm offering a final courtesy before undertaking an exhaustive list of repercussions.  The boys themselves though come short of using any letters (BA, LLB, etc.) after their name like any legit lawyer would.  P.Alex Rivard prefers the  term "LAWYER" below his name.  They list their number as 647-796-0100. The web site in the letter is rivardkehoe.com.  These do correlate on various sources.
The YP.ca spam call site states "All 647-796 calls come from a Landline operated by Managed Network Systems Inc. and are located in the city of Toronto"
There is a P. Alex Rivard, at Rivard, Kehoe LLP, 3250 Bloor St. W., 647-775-1631 who might be lending his good name or not.
Rivard, Kehoe is also listed at Suite 104 1548 The Queensway,
At different sites and sources Rivard or one using the name is Paul Alexandre Rivard, P. Alex Rivard, Paul Rivard;  not exactly the consistency one might expect from a reputable practitioner.
There is a Kevin Michael Kehoe, a para legal graduate of Humber associated with  Rivard, Kehoe LLP.
If these boys are being wrongfully used by D&A I hope they take action, if not they deserve the exposure.
'800 Notes' links Rivard, Kehoe LLP with MAC Financial Recovery Inc. in 2016 and that they 'rent out' their stationary for collection purpose without real involvement.
The current letter wants one to call Charllote Lush at 1-888-395-1147 ex 6345  or  e-mail charlotte.lush@dagroupservices.com - love the names they come up with.
The letter is a legal requirement in Ontario, these poorly drafted ones are not specific and may not be relevant or for you just an attempt to hook a fish.  If you do respond ACKNOWLEDGE NOTHING, ask for details on the matter, make notes, end with "I await your detailed letter on the matter, if you have the right person you'll have the address." Then relax and wait.
D&A Collection Corporation at 142 - 75 Watline Ave, Mississauga,  888-395-1147 or 905-507-8889//905-507-1147  is on the BBB site with an A+ rating possibly due to the polite delayed responses referring to client records and other dodges. However they are not accredited and there are multiple complaints and poor comment on other sites.  A reading of their practises on numerous sites suggest they know how to play the game and get away with it.
