matt i guess you need to brush up on the collections act. i used to be in collections myself as of 6 months ago could not take the stress but this comment is completly untrue as per the collections act.

Received a call for my son who is away at University. The caller (Melissa) said it was very important and asked for a phone  number for him. She said privacy legislation would not allow her to say what it was about. When I wouldn't give his number, she gave me the 1-888 number and an extension number.

I received a call from a male by the name of Andrew wanted a call back... ext 8224. He didn't even say who the call was for just to call him back on an urgent matter.

I got so many phone calls from this D&A agency asking for collections, but everytime I call it's always automated answering and leaving msg. I don't want to bother but they leave msg like 5 a week, and they even threaten with taking legal actions! I'm so confused as to what the matter is, and by regulations, companies and banks do not take any legal actions unless the payments have not been recieved for 6-9 months. So don't bother and wait till an official notice. I'm kind of scared of the debts they say, because it might be true, but how can I resolve it if no amount of company is given for me to respond??

I just got a message from this number. Stating to call back at extension 6206. I couldnt really understand what the guy was saying, so i didnt hear where he was calling from or what his name was.. if he stated it. So i checked where the number was from on 411.. didnt show anything. so i typed it in on google and THANK HEAVENS FOR THIS SITE.

next he forwards it to "the legal dept" where some psychotic female dog starts screaming at me on the phone. i called ols back to question the deal, he says he is no longer going to deal with me cause its gone lagal, and he hangs up. 3 weeks later gguess who's calling wanting to talk to me....Ola!
guess what i told him to do! and then I hung up.
pay your debt dierectly to the debtor and dont worry about these clowns.
thats what i am doing and its annoying them cause "they" are not going to get the $$.

always got a call everyday morning and evening, harassing us, looking for someone who does'nt live with us and we don't know! the caller identify herself as Miss Persaud! she is annoying and very rude!

my roommaates got back from a trip and left me a message saying that this comapany called for me. the funny thing is that i have my own phone. till i got this message i have never knew/ gave out my roommates phone No.
i called back but the person i spoke to said they can't find my name anywhere.

I get a phone call and they wouldn't tell me what its about as well... problem is they are asking for one of my parents who is no longer in any mental capacity to take care of their private matters (brain injury).
I usually take care of matters like this (phone calls, bills etc), but they wouldn't disclose any information and its VERY frustrating.

hi i also got a call from that d&a at 3pm here telling me to call them back its a girl with ext.#6228 and she said urgent!!! is that a scam?

i got a message on my home phone from DNA Collection Corporation today. This was an unnamed female voice. She ask me called her at 1-888-395-1147 extension # 6234 and reference # 235441.

I got a call from my aunt saying that some DNA corporation called them looking for me? Are they allowed to call my family?

These people call repeatedly and: 1. never state exactly whom they represent, 2. never sent anything in writing, 3. claim an amount that keeps changing. What kind of legitimate company behaves like this? Can they be reported to the authorities?

Primus for me as well   only over a year no one could phone me. only when my card expired and they could not charge me anymore did they fix it 3 months later to tell me to pay their bill. Advoid Primus go with shaw.
