Called them back and left voice mail requesting that I be put on their 'do not call' list. We'll see.

They call repeatedly, several times a day several days in a row. It's getting annoying. Mornings, evenings; does not matter.
Caller ID says "Toll free call" so I don't answer it.
They don't leave a message.

Left several messages requesting that they do not call. They have chosen to keep calling. I filed a complaint with the FCC. I hope that this will stop their calling almost every day.

On 11/1009 I called the ATT number back that was on my caller ID and received a recorded message giving me the option of opting out of future calls. I did so. We'll see if they honor my request.

The FCC is a good next step, which I'll try if necessary. Also, accept the call and place it on hold and then go about your business until the call is dropped.

I get calls from this number not once a day but several times a day practically every day of the week, different times of the day as early as 8AM and late as 8:30PM. I have never answered and it was annoying but now after reading all this info am getting the idea of playing a joke on them with an answer that should surprise them.

They called again & again & again & again... I never pick up their calls.

1-888-419-9409 does purport to be AT&T.  Gives you the option to be placed on their "Do Not Call List"

They call every day- called 3 times today so far. Also they hang up when machine picks up.

They called just now, so I let them listen to the football game before I hung up on them. Then I blocked their number. Bye-bye, AT&T.

Calls almost everyday, never leaves a message. I am one, whom knows how to call someone if I want something from them. I will not answer only to find it is someone who wants to sell me something. I am on THE DO NOT CALL LIST and I still receive these types of calls. What good does DO NOT CALL do? I have a No Soliciting sign on my door, people still pay no attention to it as well..obviously they do not know what it means, just like the DO NOT CALL.

This is exactly what I told them. They still continue to call.

They call me several times a week nearly every week.  I keep telling them I am not interested.  Actually they called twice today.

I answered, waited for about 3 seconds, then hung up when no one was immediately on the other end.  After reading at this site that most people think it's AT&T I called the number - I had to listen to a brief spiel and then it said if I wanted to be put on their "do not call" list that I should leave my name & phone number.  When it started recording I told them they must think I'm insane -- they already *have* my name and phone number.  Every other company I've called back requests that you push "1" to get off their list -- why should a company as big as AT&T need you to RECORD your name and number??

Have gotten at least 4 calls. Let answer machine pick up.........no message

Since I knew from checking this site a few days ago that it was an AT&T call, I answered.... Caller: Is this (My Name)?  Me: "Who is calling please?"  Caller: This is Amy at AT&T calling.  Me: "Yes, I'm (My Name).  Please put this number on your do not call list."  Caller: Let me verify the number: (she read it off).  Are there any other numbers you wish to place on the list?

So I gave her my cell number as well.  She said it can take up to 30 days.

Report them where!!!!  please email me as I HATE THESE PEOPLE AND WANT TO REPORT THEM TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN TO ME!!!!!

THESE IDIOTS CALL EVERY DAY!!  I have answered and actually had someone at the other end.  They say they are AT&T - I tell them to leave me alone I already have AT&T!!!

Get calls from this number daily 2-3 times. This has continued for many  months. All hang ups after voice mail answers.  Never any messages or IDs.  Apparently after reading above reports its AT&T.  How can they get away with this when my number is on the DNC list?  I reported this on line and still calls persist.  There aught-to-be a law!!
