Daily calls.  Number, but no name on caller id.  Dead air, no one ever answers.

Like others in this thread, I am on US do-not-call registry.  Unfortunately, this does not exempt companies that you have a business relationship with.

Since it appears to be AT&T, and I am an AT&T customer, I called customer service and requested to be placed on their "internal" do-not-call list.  I have had success in the past with eliminating solicitations from companies, once identified, by requesting to be on their internal DNC registry.

I'm at home today and this number has called twice this morning. I don't answer it because I don't recognize the number. They never leave a message.

I receive calls repeatedly from this number and there is only dead silence on the other end. I just called the number and left a message to be placed on the do not call list...I'll report back if this does or doesn't work.

These poeple call all the time.
The answering machine picked up a woman muttering "...at least you get to give a presentation." and then hung up. The only reason we have AT&T in the first place is because we can't get Verizon telephone (We have the internet and TV with Verizon) because of some ridiculous regulation.

The Public Utility Commission says that they can do nothing if a person has an account with AT&T.  I Phone
users don't have a choice.  They directed me to the Attorney General's office at 1-800-621-0508.
They take your name, address, phone # and send you a complaint form.  I'm going to fill it out and see what happens.

This number never fails to make a daily call.  It's annoying and intrusive and definately time to quit calling.  If they can not leave a message than they must have nothing to say, so don't call back.

Getting calls every day from this number. They don't let it ring very many times and leave no message. We are on the national no-call list and would like for this to stop.

Yes, you all can blame ATT for these annoying calls. They are the ones that decided to farm out their sales for U-Verse, to EMS Marketing Service located in Toledo OH coverage in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana, with a regional office in Lansing MI, they were the primary door knockers, where ATT is undermining the efforts with phone calls for U-Verse. Desparate for a job, my husband attempted for work with EMS but ATT stole his limited sales by countering the customer a better deal when the sale was turned in for service installation by ATT. They got everyone coming and going and no one known who's in the lead.

You see them knocking on your door repeatedly because their 'hot-shot' salesmen scramble to get to ya as soon as a new list comes out (prime calling areas are where no cable service is at) their key sales team scrambles to your door in hopes of a quick sale - if you're not home - or simply do not answer - they'll then pass off the "unworked" houses onto their new sales trainee's. Well, come on - if you said NO once, or didn't answer the door once. They should get the message - but they won't. They'll send back the guy spinning his wheels and wasting gas and getting no pay check. It's a lose-lose for everyone. But that's how ATT wanted to handle it. Typical sales tactics. Meanwhile they operators can sell you the same thing or better than what was offered. Take it to the bank. If EMS offered $100 rebate and free installation - ATT will offer at least twice that to take the sale from EMS!

Two weeks later - my husband saw thru it and quit. His supervisor came back THAT day and took his shirt and coat - a month later we received a whopping check for the only sale he managed to get, minus a $20 charge for his coat and shirt. What a scam to the bitter end. The other sale he got, the customer cancelled with EMS and resigned directly through ATT with twice the perks.

Sad part is I love U-Verse's internet service and we replaced DISH with U-Verse TV. We're moving soon and will transfer our service too. I miss DISH, their DVR has better functionality and the movies are cheaper, and you can record a TV show or movie on DVR to watch later on, and if I wanted to copy to dvd to take upnorth where we don't have tv to watch on the dvd player, I could. U-Verse has you blocked from doing that. I may consider keeping internet and getting my DISH back!!!!  We left on great terms.

We got these calls from 888-419-9409 too - and we already HAVE U-Verse. Is the horse leading or the cart? We are blocking their number - done!!

Yes, it's ATT & their hired out telemarketer is working it coast to coast. The 888 number allows them to get to you but that's why they don't answer the call-backs. They are looking to expand into primary populated areas, where there is no cable service now or in near future. U-Verse works from fiber optics and doesn't need the buried cable into your house. A modem sends their signal.

These calls from ATT UVerse are worse than Spam EMAIL.  We are not customers of UVerse.  It's time to file complaints with the FCC.

I just got a call and goggled the number and I got this site.  Glad to know it's not just me. He asked for me by name but I told him he had the wrong number. At least it's ATT and not some collection agency I don't owe money to.
