She asked me to confirm my DOB and SS.  I asked her what the call was in regard to at least three times - she never answered.  i refused to speak with her any longer and was told "they would (then) go to the next step".

By the way, they called me at work.

I *69 the number and it came up with a Charter number. I called it back and actually got a real person after I waded through the automation. Told them to put me on the no call list hopefully it works.

They called me twice, seven times apart yesterday, and then again around 8:00 at night trying to sell me their Charter bundle. I don't know how they got my cell phone ( I'm assuming it's because it was my Dad's old cell phone number, and I'm constantly getting calls from the Gas Company and "Internet Specialists"). When they called me at 8:00pm, though, I'm incredibly proud to say that I made them hang up on me. Bucket List #25 - complete. :)

Quit calling me.  If I need anything from Charter, I know your number and where your local office is located.  Just so there's no doubt--quit calling me.

I've been getting calls from Charter, from a different number. I don't even live in an area that they serve. Talked to 2 different people yesterday and the first said they'd remove my number from their lists. The second said she'd expedite the do-not-call order as it often can take up to 48 hours. So, today, I get a call from this number, also Charter. I call them back and explain the whole thing again. They're calling my cell, I've never been a customer, etc. They give me the national do-not-call number to call! I'm already on this list. Maddening! Next stop, FCC registry to report it.

I also got the call, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker.  www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 888 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.

You need to buy one of these, you’ll like it. No monthly fees either
