Yeah, they keep calling me too, saying they are charter communications making sure I am satisfied with my service.  Downright annoying.

Have received 11 calls in the last 9 days - I guess they were off January 1st.  I HATE CHARTER!!!! Would love to dump them, but they're the only cable offered in my town.

They have called five times since noon today (it's only 9:02 pm)  This is a pain in the neck!!  And I'm the one paying for the minutes!!

The telemarketer is probably using an autodialer (or predictive dialer) to call your cellphone. That's illegal. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act prohibits predictive dialed calls to cell phones. You can file a complaint with the FCC here: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

Another scamer

I receive calls from this number all day long everyday. When I call I get Charter Communications but never get to speak to anyone. Its very annoying when they leave a message....all that is said is "Hello" several times. Knock it out !

This is telemarketer for Charter Cable.  After spending 30 minutes getting them to put me on their "do not call" list, they call back two hours later.

THEY CALL AT LEAST 5 TIMES A DAY!!!!  I was home sick with the flu for 3 days, and finally had to turn my phone off.  I could not rest for 2 hours without a call from this #.  I have been back at work this week, 8-5 and when I come home at night there are at least 4-5 missed calls from this # on my called ID. I tried to call back to get a human and insist that they take me off the list and had no luck.  How do we get the calls to stop???  I am on the national no call list...someone help :)

Got a call from 888-438-2427...someone on the other end would not identify them self. So I got out my whistle and blew in their ear, then hung up phone. We'll see if they call again...

he technology is there with Caller Id to block these types of numbers. Their is a product called a telezapper that will tell the computers when a call originating from a call center comes through that the number has been disconnected and the computer will take your number of the list. Another tool for instance is a feature on all in one printers with fax capabilities like the HP5610 that can block junk faxes. You just put the number in and the next time they call it will ring once on their end and the fax machine will hang up once the number is recognized. Many of the new phones also have this capability if you have caller I.D. Good luck to you all. Hope this helps

A sales person (female) who claimed to be with Sirius satellite radio.  Offered a 2nd free radio for free with a discounted monthly price because I'm already a 'valued' subscriber.  Everything sounded great at first (because I absolutely love my sirius radio!) until they asked for credit info.  Told them that I thought they would put it on my current account and bill me, and that I'd rather not give my credit card # over the phone,  said that she could not access the sirius billing system to confirm my credit card #.  RED FLAG!  They offered legitimate 'sounding' information such as radio esn and acct. number.  I told the woman that I would call sirius myself with a phone number that I know is valid,  she insisted that I call back the 888-438 number.  

I called the real sirius number 888-get-sirius,  first of all,  I had problems accessing my account,  this is interesting because I tried to access my account using my home telephone number,  and apparently I never gave sirius my new home number!  the number at which the 888-438 sales lady called me on!  RED FLAG!  SO,  I updated my contact information with the 'real' sirius folks,  and while we were on the phone, I asked if sirius had any deals being made for a new free 2nd radio with a discounted monthly price,  you guessed it! the answer was NO,  and I was warned to be careful accepting calls from anyone claiming to be sirius,  and to never give my credit card # over the phone. DUH!  So,  unless there is in fact a program going on that the real sirius salesperson didn't know about,  I'd RUN, NOT WALK,  away from anybody calling from 888-438-2427....

This is what we heard after we said hello:  "Don't ask me for a cigarette right now, the customer can hear you."  We hung up.

I have registered every phone number that belongs to every member of my family four times, and I'm still getting these calls. My number is also unlisted. It is a computer, I think, that dials several numbers at a time, so, not only am I being called, but the calls are silent. I'm just sick of these calls.

Keeps calling every f'ing day multiple times trying to sell more sh*t to us.  We have already told them multiple times we don't need anymore services from them and they need to stop calling.  I laid into the last caller and told her she better put a note in the system that we have already talked to someone else and said we are not interested the previous week and you people need to stop calling.  I'm tired of seeing this number show up on the caller id.  Sometimes they won't speak, other times you sit there for a few seconds after saying hello before they decide to talk.

will not stop calling even after talking to the "account holder" that they cannot ask for by name.  told the guy that "no you cannot talk to him because you have already talked to him twice already and you have been told to stop calling here, goodbye!".

isn't caller ID wonderful!  i'm so glad i'm not a slave to my phone.  if you want to speak to me (and if i feel like to talking to you), leave a message.  another idiot call left without a message.

They call over and over and when they get no response, they get pissed and leave a bunch of noise on the answering service. (Possibly pressing the # key after the beep). I don't think any legitimate business would use such an approach, or waste their own time and money for that matter. This and unknown caller are usually the trouble makers. If by chance the corporates are using individuals like this to promote sales, they're not doing their business any justice.
