This number is registered to Charter Communications. I am a customer but they keep trying to get me to upgrade my services.

Got credit card fraud from this number. Received a bogus 283.57 charge on my credit card from "Charter Communications" with an "address" of 888-438-2427. This was on 5/9/2008. Charter doesn't even service our area.

Received a call on 6/6/2008 11:00am Central time - I answered, they disconnected immediately.

They call at least twice during the day, usually around four times.  I never pick up the phone and they hang up before the machine picks up.  It drives me crazy.

THEY CALL ABOUT 4 TIMES A DAY. NOT ON WEEKENDS THOUGH. IT IS CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS.  I HAVE TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL...BUT THEY STILL DO

We have had several calls from this number. The few times I have answered, it has been Charter Communications. What is most annoying is the fact that we discontinued our cable service 2 months ago and choose to go with satellite TV because the cable prices were constantly increasing and the service wasn't the best. Okay, I can understand them calling once to ask why we decided to quit our cable, but anything more than that is acceptable. They even tried to offer us a better deal. But why would we switch back? We had to sign-up for a year.

I too receive calls from this number...it is from Charter Communications.  Talked with a rep and she is putting me on their Do Not Call List...I have every service that they have and I too still get calls from them and they won't never say anything or leave a message.

Yes im am tired of these peuple , I can not understand if they are trying to solicit for business why the hell they hang up? anoying and we are tired of them somthing has to be done.

They just keep calling and calling sometimes later than wanted since I have to be up at 2AM for work.  When I answer there is never anyone there.  
When I finally called them back, they wanted my area code and telephone #.  I wouldn't give it to them and hung up on them.

888-438-2427.  Keeps phoning and not leaving messages.

I just a call from these jerks--I don't answer calls on my cell I don't recognize.  No message left.  I tried calling back and could not reach them.  On my cell phone, I simply save these calls under the heading "junk" and set the ringer to "no ring".

I have been receiving at least one and sometimes 2 calls per day from 888-438-2427.  It is a nuisance and unwanted invasion of my phone line.  
When I checked this out on Google, it appeared this is a telemarketer.
I only answered a call from this number once or twice, but when there was a delay in response from the caller, I disconnected.
